Hello Warriors!

I am a new Affiliate Marketer. I am working on some money making products. Mainly I am trying to build my list first. But I am facing problem to find relevant background images for my landing pages. I tried searching on google but it didn't work. Can anyone suggest me some FREE resources of high quality images?

Beside that any kind of suggestion for creating high converting landing pages will be appreciated.

Thanks.

  • Wikipedia is a good source. However, you might have to check out every individual license. Whenever in doubt credit the photos you claim are free. FYI: You also might need to put up a notice on your site that you don't intend to violate copyright in the event you unknowingly posted something illegally. (That happens when you get free stuff given to you.)

Be careful, but just carefully examine the photos you use. Creative common ones are usually the safest to use. You can look up "free" or "creative commons" licenses.

    • Thanks for your reply. I am concern about the copyright issue. But your answer is not the answer I am looking for. Anyway how Wikipedia can be a good resource for images?
  • Hey.. Type in google, squeeze page templates free. You will find a website where free templates are available to download. Just download these templates and Enjoy
  • I use most of the time this site The Leading Source Of Free Stock Photos - freeimages as well as compfight.com! Have a look at them.

I'm sorry to hear it, Victor.

This is probably the single commonest mistake that beginning internet marketers make, and the single commonest reason for their very low success-rate.

"Money-making products" are something you should avoid (for many, many reasons!) until you have quite a lot of experience.

What's the point of trying to teach other people to do something of which you have no successful experience yourself? All you achieve, this way, is making sure that you're competing for the same traffic with some of the world's most experienced, most successful, most expert marketers.

It must be a pretty sure-fire way of stacking the deck against yourself, if you think about it, mustn't it?

That's good news, believe it or not, because every single person I know who has split-tested "squeeze pages with background images" against "the same pages but with a plain, white background" has reported that the plain white background converts significantly better.

And there are many threads in this forum in which people confirm that, and discuss their results, and the reasons for them.

You're actually seeking advice, here, on how to do something which seems overwhelmingly likely to cost/lose you money.

Nobody was born knowing how to do this stuff, and it's no criticism of you at all, but respectfully, the fact that you were trying to do this also indicates your lack of knowledge and familiarity with "what works", and is another yet reason for you to avoid anything to do with "money-making products", with which your "relatively disadvantageous position" will show, and will cost you, even more than in other niches.

Take a step back and try to think about it dispassionately: it's not too difficult to see, really, I think?

It's not just about the numbers of people on your list, Victor: it's about quality.

Don't imagine that "the biggest list" is also going to be "the list that produces the most income". That's very rarely the case (and of course there are reasons for that).

What will probably help even more is to stop trying to "take action", for the moment, and to get yourself better oriented, facing in the right direction and making better and more appropriate decisions that stack the deck in your favor rather than so firmly against yourself. If you don't do that before you start, it may not actually make any difference how much action you take.

    • Hello Alexa,

Thanks a lot for all of your suggestions. Will you please suggest that what type of niche should I choose as a newbie? After your comment I am really confused now. This will help me a lot and also the other newbies like me.

  • I'd pay some money for it. Invest $10 for a .PSD graphics package, or a graphics designer, and save yourself alot of time.
