INTERNET MARKETING

I wonder if anyone could help me. I am currently in the early processes of building my email list through selling a product on Jvzoo.

My question is, how do I make sure that anyone who buys the eBook will go on to my email list? I'm worried that I have missed out a very important step to the process!

I have definitely linked the product to my auto responder but I am just having a bit of a worry that I haven't done it correctly!

Any help would be great!

Hi Josh

Have you added an optin form to your download page to allow people to be on your list?

If you haven't, then that's your answer.

If you have, maybe take a look at the reason you have given your customer to make them want to optin - it needs to be compelling.

I always offer free lifetime updates to my products and I say "optin here to get notified when I release an update, which you will always get for free...or something along those lines

Are you not able to integrate the email autoresponder over there on jvzoo. Also, add the optin form as both a popup and in standard display in the download page.

Send buyers to a "sign-in" page after purchase. Enter it's URL for your buy button or OTO "no thanks" link redirect. The form on your page will be your buyers list. If you have a OTO you will need two "sign-in forms. I put, "Please sign-in to access your purchase."

As others have said, send your customers to a opt-in page after they purchase - offering extra value in exchange for their email.

While on this topic, a huge mistake that product owners (who rely on affiliates) make is creating a squeeze page as the first thing traffic sees.

Yes, you'll keep their details and be able to differentiate the buyers from the rest, but you won't get nearly enough quality affiliates promoting your product.

This is something I see on Clickbank all the time.

Build a lead page with an optin form so you can capture the prospects email info then connect your auto responder to the form.

You can always download a CSV of your buyers and upload them manually to your AR.
