The best niche is the niche your best at. You can make money at any niche almost.

Just because you have a keen interest in a subject, or you have a 'love' of something, doesn't mean you make money with it.

      Far from it..

I've seen so many people fail time and time again, because they wasted all their efforts trying to make money from what they 'love' to do.

If you can find any niche where people are desperate for solutions to problems, then those are your money making niches.

Desperate buyers can be found in almost any niche.

You just have to know how to tap into them.

    The most profitable niche?

Well, think evergreen. What do people need all the time, all year? What are humans desires?

    Then drill down from there.

But you can make money from anything, really.

    - How to start an ice cream truck
    - Chicken coops
    - Tying bow ties
    - etc., etc.

    To big niches:

    - Losing weight
    - Love
    - etc., etc.

Refining one of these big niches down from say, 'love' to 'falling in love after 50' is a better idea as it gives you instant access to a niche group of buyers who might feel neglected and will be looking for your products/articles.

My advice is to keep it simple for your first site by sticking to the basics:

    Health - Wealth - Relationships

Dig right into one of the three to find a targeted niche, get as much information as you can on where your target market hangout, then take action.

What a question! (meaning answers will come from every direction). My answer is any niche is profitable if you have the means to get your product or service to the target audience. That takes work and a lot of expertise starting with keyword research--finding the terms that aren't highly competitive but still get a decent volume of searches a month. Then it's building a website that Google loves--the content, the silo structure, the SEO optimization on the website, the off page optimization, get high quality authority site backlinks. So my answer is find the system that will get you the traffic. Find the system that will get you ranked on page 1 of some Google searches for keywords in your niche. Once you have the system, you can pick almost any niche. I am hopeful that I found one; it's very very complete...Peter Garety's p1 time machine.

I would say Super yachts or anything costing millions. Of course you won't see anyone talking about that here, as most people are obssessed with making their $30 Clickbank commissions.

Also online flower delivery must be pretty profitable.

You can find many profitable niches. Apply a filter to greenlight it first (depending on your objectives).

Sometimes, you go after one (I was targetting financial planners to build software solution) and you end up with another one (outbound cold email... the very same tool I built to contact the financial planners intially).

So stay opened to opportuntites and don't follow blindly one idea!

I was in a niche similar to this. I did lead generation for $40 million dollar jets (G550's).

It sounds great but actually doing it isn't as easy as you would think.

Most if not all of the people selling these high end jet's and yachts go through brokers. The broker is the one who get's the commission if they sell them.

Trying to generate leads for a jet or yacht you don't own and then trying to get a commission from the broker is damn near impossible. Going to the owner of the jet or yacht with your lead will result in them sending you back to the broker. (They couldn't be bothered in the first place, that's why they found a broker to sell their jet or yacht)

I spoke to a broker on the phone about generating leads for him. His response was "why do I need you when I have all my listings on this site, that site, and this site".

He was generating leads as I was generating leads. He didn't see the benefit in splitting the commission with me when he was getting his own leads.

Hope this makes sense I'm really tired, my head is foggy and I should be in bed.

Well seeing how competition most niche is now... it would be difficult to carve out a profitable piece from an existing market.. wouldnt it?
    No it wouldn't.

If you think you need to find undiscovered niches that no one else knows about you've misunderstood.

These niches don't exist and if they did no one would tell you anyway.

    Other people ALWAYS know.

Niches with no competition are risky...if no one is competing in the niche it's probably because it's not profitable.

Stick with niches that have proven demand, competition (it's a sign of a health market), lots of products on sale, an easy to find target audience online etc.

In the big niches there are near endless sub-niches and different approaches you can take. There's new people coming into the niche every day. There's endless new products and people to sell to.

    Makes it pretty easy.

Going into new, relatively unknown niches, would be hard for an experienced marketer let alone a newcomer.

Make sure you pick a niche that has a really hungry market and which can bring you in tons of buyers because there is a wide variety of people wanting it.

I personally like the make money online niche because everyone wants to make more money, everyone wants to better their lifestyle or increase the amount of money they bring every month because they want to provide a better life for their family- i know many people have reservations for this niche and say it is saturated but this proves to be an extremely profitable niche year after year and newbies enter this market every single day. If you learn how to market properly and make yourself stand out as an authority then you will pull in sales.

I would also like to add that when you pick your niche, you want a good compensation plan and the best programs would normally have a low entry (something that anyone can afford to put their foot in the door); this is internet marketing 101... you sell them something low to get them interested and qualify them, then you want to sell them a mid and High Ticket Affiliate Program in the back end.

So you want something that will allow you to make a low commission just to get them in the door, that helps make your money back for traffic you are sending and the money you are investing, and then a certain percentage of those people are going to buy the mid and High Ticket Affiliate Program on the back end and that is where you are going to make your big money.

One other final tip, you want to have a sales funnel that does 90% of the work for you so you want something that once the sales funnel is in place, you just drive traffic and the money comes in for you automatically. To your success!!!

With such a broad question, you'll only get broad answers. There are a zillion niches and people doing extremely well in all of them. In terms of profit potential, the most competitive niches will almost always be the most profitable ones.

Most profitable niches fall under the 3 umbrella niches of health, wealth, or happiness.

The most profitable overall, or the most profitable for you?

They're extremely unlikely to be the same thing. In fact they could easily be diametrically opposite to each other.

Key concept: contrary to what you might have read elsewhere, it isn't about "the size of the pie" - it's about "the size of your slice of the pie". That's what pays my mortgage and bills, every month. The only relevance to me of "the size of the pie itself" is that the bigger it is, the harder it's going to be for me to cut out any slice at all, let alone the big, rich, nourishing slice I want.

Niche selection, ultimately, is about whether you want to sell metaphorical "jeans" (huge demand, but everyone else sells them too) or metaphorical "skating videos" (small but enthusiastic market and very, very few other suppliers). Most people try to sell jeans "because that's a huge market with plenty of money in it".

In other words, they're making their decisions according to the size of the pie - and perhaps that's why so few of them ever really succeed.

It's explained in more detail here: Niche Selection Roadblock

And here: Weight Loss Market: Still Profitable ?

And here: Most Lucrative niche in Internet Marketing?

And here: Guess who is going to have the most profitable business?

    Just my perspective.

Evergreen niches are the way to go. If it's in demand 24/7 for 365 days, then it's worth pursuing. Think about stuff that you use on a daily basis. Do you search for medical help online for back ache or pain? That's one good niche, people who are suffering may want to visit a site related to it and listen to your advice.

The best niche though in my honest opinion is the one where you are reading this.

There are those that would tell you that what I'm about to say is wrong. But I've been marketing for over 30 years. I won't speak of what I've done, but let's just say when I say this it's coming from experience.

What is it that excites the crap out of you when you wake up in the morning?

What is it that is your burning obsession that you can't shut up about when you find someone else who's also into it?

      Whatever that is, do that!

You can male money at anything AKA the famous bird cage model. There's a guy who makes bank selling bird cages. People with birds are crazy about them.

I know a guy doing low 6 figures per month in baby names. Last time I checked sex was still very popular and when people do that they end up needin baby names.

I have another friend who does mid 6 figures per month with extreme sports.

There are not to many niches where you won't be able to make money. So, do what get's you off. You're going to be in the niche for decades, you might as well enjoy it.

One of my biggest mistakes was to go for niches that I figured were profitable, but found little to no interest in them. These sites became dubs because I had little desire to work on them. On the other hand, when I eventually just decided to choose a niche that I enjoyed, I finally began seeing the results that I was looking for.

If you have any types of hobbies or things you like to do to pass time, chances are other people have the same interests and are surfing the web for more information. My most profitable niche that I currently focus in is the obvious answer, the health, fitness, and weight loss niche. It's a niche that's evergreen as there are tons of people desperate for answers to their problems regarding health. I find that this niche was a pretty easy niche to break into as a beginner even though it seems relatively difficult to due to the amount of competition out there. I just started very simple building up a low-cost blog with a few articles posted each week monetized with adsense.

I feel like starting simple is the key if you're a beginner because when I first started off I read all these ebooks and such and I was overwhelmed with everything and all these techniques. So I just decided to scrap every technique and just do a simple blog with a few basic SEO articles. After a few months was when I started making advancements to my blog such as promoting products, creating my own products, email marketing, social marketing, and all that jazz. But I only did so gradually.

If you are new to internet marketing. Start with micro niches where your ROI will be a lot higher.
These evergreen niches are definitely more Profitable but it is also a lot more competitive.

The majority of people who jump into this industry starts off with MMO niche and just fail miserably.

My opinion, start of with something you enjoy doing or have information about.

My first niche was......... Languages.. (even though my first few sales were from me recommending products to my mates who wanted to learn Japanese.) Still Counts
