Is it possible to earn $150 per day with IM?

I'm new here and just wondered if it's possible to earn $150 per day with an easy to follow IM formula. I work from home in a customer service role and would like to replace it with something else that's a little less stressful. I've seen tons of programs that promise to teach you how to make money but I find it overwhelming as I don't know which option would work best for me. I've tried affiliate marketing on youtube but I don't get many views and have never actually sold a product through affiliate marketing. I wouldn't mind paying for a proven method, but I just don't know which one to pick. I would appreciate any helpful advice.

    Yes, but it will not be easy for you right away. You need to understand a system to do that. However, with he right system it is VERY easy.

    It's very much POSSIBLE and to even earn more.

    The only problem is, it's not a rock science and you would need to get your butt moving to really earn that kind of money consistently. In other words, you need skills set.

    It depends what you mean by "easy to follow", I think.

    If you're talking about "easy to follow without having any prior skills or IM-specific education", then it's going to very difficult, and strongly against the odds. Everything has a learning curve.

    There are many people here earning that and far more from IM, of course. But the reality is that they're a very small proportion of the people who "set out to try to make a living from it". I think that's going to be so for any form of self-employment, though, isn't it?

    I don't know you at all, but I can't help wondering whether setting up and running your own business is really likely to be less stressful than being an employee and having your income secure just "if you put in the hours competently"? I suspect that for many/most people, it would be exactly the opposite, wouldn't it?

    I'm a full-time affiliate marketer. I worked very hard at it, made a lot of mistakes, and managed to set up my own business with a lot of luck and some pre-existing skills and some good judgement, I think. But it was still a long time before I got to your figure of $4,500 per month of secure, steady income, and I was really one of the very lucky few. Apolgies if I sound dispiriting: I think I'm just being realistic. You might do it, of course, but far more people don't, than do.

    This tends not to be how it works, for the overwhelming majority of people, I think.

    I don't think it's often something you do with a "system", per se. I think it's much more of a learning-curve than that, for most people. Whatever you do, don't start buying lots of different "systems" that make income promises.

    As John says, just above, you need to develop skills. These are what really determines income potential.

    Yeah $150 is achievable with the right business model in place.

    I myself started of with making some youtube videos and promoting affiliate products however that wasn't consistent, one day i would make $200 but then i wouldn't make anything for a week or so plus relaying on youtube is not a great thing...

    But then i realised that the key is to build an email list, with a list there is many things you can do to make much more than $150 a day.

    I myself not so long ago went into the solo ads industry and make my living there since, however there is so many other things i can now do with my list for extra income.

    What ever you do, don't try and over complicate things. Just make sure its a proven business model, get a coach and you should be on your way to making much more than $150 a day.

      I resonate with you totally there, and love your comments.

      It tpok me 2 bloody years of working online before I realised list building or even started list building. What a dummy right? sheesh.

      Once I built a list, everything changed for me, its was like A breath of clean air and my income pretty much quadrupled very fast.

    Fiverr is a good place to start. Even though you earn $4 per sale after the fees, you can make some pretty long term customers. I made one sale from someone about 3 weeks ago on Fiverr and just recently he offered me $75 to write 7 articles.

    Fiverr is a good place to promote your own products. I had 10 eBooks on sale for a Clickbank money making guide and I was communicating with one of my buyers. I asked him if he wanted to take it off my hands and 2 hours later, he sent $120 to my PayPal account for them.

      Alexa's right. Running a business is NOT easy. Emphasis on the not. I was successful for years. My best month I averaged well over $500 per day.

      This year I've made $300 so far. All year. Yes, all year.

      Things change. What worked yesterday may not work tomorrow. I am living proof of that. And I'm no idiot either. I have a 148 IQ and more college degrees than Carter has liver pills.

      If you want something less stressful than working a job, you've come to the wrong place. Wait until you've started putting together your business and three months have gone by and you've made nothing.

      I started a brand new business in January of this year that I actually started preparing for in July of last year. So far I've yet to make one dime outside of some Adsense which I think has come out to like $10, if that.

      You will work harder and have to work smarter than you ever have in your life. There'll be nobody to tell you "do this" and "do that" like you have at a job. You'll have to think through everything on your own. You can come to people for advice. Some will offer it free. Others will make you pay for it. You'll have to decide for yourself which advice to listen to and which advice to ignore. There is no flashing neon sign that will go off when somebody hands you a load of BS.

      There are more skills to learn in running your own business than in anything you've ever done. Most jobs require one, maybe two skills. Three tops. Running your own business requires no less than a dozen skills that I could name off the top of my head unless you've got the kind of money where you can just hire people to do it all for you. And then you have to worry about if you can trust them to do the job correctly.

      If this sounds like IM royally sucks, it does. But there is a HUGE upside to it.

      If you DO happen to succeed, there is no feeling like it. For years I was on top of the world and quite an arrogant SOB because of it. I've become quite humble since it all came crashing down. If you think you can handle the early struggles with little or no income and the ups and downs of IM life, I say go for it.

      If not, pardon the cliche, don't quit your day job.

    Of course it's possible, but it takes consistent, persistent action.

    The reason many people mentioned a "system" is because it does all the hard work of setting things up for you.

    When I first got started years ago, I spent hours upon hours creating websites, and landing pages, etc (of course now there are tools for that so you can do it in minutes) but I wasted so much time creating things and "setting up" that I never did much actual marketing.

    Yes, there are systems out there that work, and they can work very well - but you still have to add your own "personal touch"

    Don't just expect to send people to an affiliate offer and make sales. If you instead send them to one of your videos or blog posts or something, offer them value and THEN send them to the affiliate offer, it could work.

    Youtube is a good example. In and of itself, it's hard to get SEARCH traffic from youtube that will create a good income for you.

    However, what if you spent money on Solo Ads for example and then send people to a landing page WITH YOUR YOUTUBE VIDEO ON IT - make sure the video offers some good value to the customer and add your optin boxes on the page so after the video you can get their email.

    When they optin - send them to the affiliate offer and see if you get sales. And of course then you're building a list you can follow up with over and over again.

    Instead of spending a lot on products, I would spend more on traffic and building a list.

    If you feel you need some training and don't wan to spend the time looking for free info on how to do it (there is so much info out there now, you can really learn the basics of just about anything you want)

    My first business took me around two years to get to that figure, the next one around 12 months, and I just hit $550 yesterday in my new 8-month business. It's very doable, but you do need a lot of time and effort. Good luck.

    Yes but your first few weeks are going to be rather low incomes as you start to learn and test new ways to market products. It is very possible to make $150 a day and honestly that is on the lower end of IM.

      $55k a year is on the low end? That is so far from the truth it's not even funny.

    It's all depend on your skills how much you can earn per day but i never heard $150 fro IM so why don't you try freelancer sites like Freelancer, odesk, elance. you can get much much jobs which suits you better. affliate maketing is also a great place to start but remember you'll have to work hard in the begining. so go ahead and best of luck.

    Thanks for all of the great replies. I've gotten some valuable feedback from forum members that are trying to point me in the right direction. From what I gather at this point is that it's important to get a list of subscribers (an audience) and promote products to them. I took the leap of faith and downloaded Rapid Subscribers 5.0 from a thread because it's a step by step plan to get started. I hope it's the right one. I wouldn't even know what kind of product/offer to promote, but I'll continue to read posts here and ask questions. I'm such a newbie that I literally need someone to explain stuff to me in very simple terms. So far I've learned about Squeeze pages and auto responders. I understand the basic concept, but that's about it. I like the idea that you need to build a solid audience first to ensure your product is being seen by the masses!

      yup my friend john reese...well known marketer came up with that, if you can make just $1 a day online, you can make 1000 or even $1Mill its all about finding out how and upscaling and outsourcing.....leverage is killer in this business.

    Formula to make $150/day in a nutshell:

    product (affiliate or your own) + traffic + building a list (Squeeze Page) = $150+ /day

    The fact is, $150 is just a starter, with this structure set in place,
    very soon you will see that $1500+ /day is possible, then you will look
    back here and have a good laugh thinking you were aiming so low.

    Of course, it takes efforts to learn and set up this structure, so be diligent in your learning

    Yes it is possible.

    The formula is Product + Sales Funnel + Traffic = Profit.

    If you make a high value product, build a solid sales funnel that converts your traffic, and send a lot of targeted traffic to your funnel, you will make money.

    If you want $150 of output profit per month, then all you need to do is input the necessary energy and perhaps $$ to get that much output.

    Consider selling physical products you own or can get with a good margin.
    Start with something you are knowledgeable about and interested in.
    Learn to do market research to increase the odds of getting a hungry audience.
    Work at least a couple of hours per week, every week (better than nothing) and keep at it.
    Don't expect to be able to quit your day job right off the bat.

    From my own experience I would suggest you to stick to one method for a fixed time i.e. 1 month or more. Don't juggle one method after another. In that case nothing fruitful will happen and you will soon lose hope in IM.

    Is it possible ? The answer : yes.

    Easy to reach that goal ? For most people, no.

    It took me almost a year before I earned my first Clickbank check

    But I knew, if I could make $100, then someday I would be able to earn $1,000. The only thing that one needs to do, is learn more skills and better ways of doing things that get better and faster results.

    The more you learn, the more you know... and the more you will earn !

    And probably the best way to learn... is by jumping in, get your hands dirty, make lots of mistakes, learn from your mistakes, don`t repeat the same mistakes (make new mistakes and learn from those too), find things that get results, then repeat those things you do that get results and scale them up.
