On Fiverr there are so many gig's now - what could a person possibly offer that would be popular or different?

Do you guys look for a particular gig and then can't find someone who does that work?

    Your gig does not have to be 'different' to be profitable, you just have to provide a good quality service-for instance I used to offer WordPress site building and trouble shooting and I got heaps of work-once you get the first 2-3 jobs done people see you are reliable and seek you out. As for SEO, i would leave that shit alone, maybe a few backlinks-but really low cost SEO is going to be spammy, and that is just SEO suicide these days-you need high PR links drip fed naturally and low density anchor text.

    A brief yet enticing animated 1.5 to 3-minute introductory video with captions / text, original images / icons, suitable non-copyrighted soundtrack and professional sounding voice-over at $5 (or even $50 = book 10 gigs), following a script supplied by the buyer, would be fantastic!

    Writing gigs are always going to be on Fiverr, this is because websites are not going to go anywhere for quite a while. Another gig is video testimonials. As long as people are making products, they will need some sort of reassurance from testimonials so hop on the boat and make videos.

    It's not always about the uniqueness of the gig, it's also about how well you are able to market your service that makes the difference.

    Of course a unique gig will help you to stand out, but I've seen many ho-hum gigs get allot of attention, and I've seen some very unique one of a kind gigs just sit there and collect dust, tucked away in a lonely corner on fiverr.

    In the end it's all about the professionalism of your profile setup, your gig description and sales pitch, and again, it's about how well you promote it. A gig, no matter how unique, or in demand, will rarely will pick up on its own.
