s2Member + WarriorPlus Expert?

s2Member seems to be a popular membership program but I've noticed it has lousy support/coverage when it comes to WarriorPlus.

I started a WSO and lost most of my sales due to theft, so I purchased s2Member but when someone makes a purchase it doesn't grant them the appropriate level.

This seems to be an issue with many people trying to run WSO's while using s2Member ...

I've tried everything myself; I even hired some guy off of Elance who couldn't figure it out and ended up costing me over $70 on top of his elance fee while he "attempted" to test it by mass purchasing my product and mass refunding which cost me tons of fees ... So I had to cancel the job.

Is there a guide out there or someone who actually knows what they're doing when it comes to s2member and WarriorPlus?

I think it would help some fellow warriors [and myself] if we banded together to make it easier to launch a WSO.

I've been wanting to bump my WSO but I'm still having issues with s2Member :/

Maybe you ought to be taking this up with s2Member and WarriorPlus support, since neither of those is associated with WF.

s2member support doesn't do anything; and people who sell WSO's/WarriorPlus use this forum, it's a community thing and I didn't think it could hurt trying to get some help on the subject since so many people have issues with it.

    Sorry if it offended you.

Doesn't offend me in the least, but it's not a 'community thing'. A very very small percentage of WF members sell WSOs, and even fewer use s2Member.

It's unfortunate you can't get support from s2, but you probably won't find any here, either.

Can't hurt reaching out, someone out there has undoubtedly run a successful WSO using s2member

Thanks for your input. *Fingers Crossed*

Did you ever find out any useful info? Seems the only person who replied was a bit of a tool. I am in the same boat. Drop me a line if you can help out, I don't mind paying

It works fine. Use S2Member Pro and the setup instructions are in WarriorPlus. Temporary set your price to a buck and make a test purchase to confirm everything is setup right.

I'm not aware of any guide, but the setup was easy.

Thanks for the answer mate. I was about to purchase another member plugin as I have seen and myself experienced several major ballsups with JVZOO integration. i will upgrade to pro now and give it a shot. If I get stuck, I hope you are available at an hourly rate haha!

          Thanks again mate

I have used them for some time and all CDN setup, however given the lack of support and documentation after the purchase I will apply for the refund. Most people are pushing DAP so on this rare occasion I might actually have to follow the herd!

Will sign up for them now too

Meh, their refund policy is pretty bad, looks like I will just put that loss down to bad judgement!

Actually now I remember why I didnt go with DAP. They don't seem to be able to support RTMP via Amazon S3

      Why do you want that?

Just use YouTube, Vimeo or Wistia for all your streaming needs.

Lol, it's just as easy to rip an amazon video.

You gotta get over that and look at it as a good thing.

Your video is rippable. Congratulations man!

You can't rip RTMP streams very easily, it is extrmely tedious compared to open streams, you can only record them, and most people cannot be bothered spending hours rerecording/capturing the streams.

It significantly reduces the instances of ripping.

Again... It's more powerful to have your stuff out there. Use a watermark.

Watermarks are easier to remove than put on!

Anyhow, I understand where you are coming from but certain products/information needs to be more tightly regulated than others, this is why the RTMP stream through CF is such a popular product.

If I didn't care too much, I'd just use our servers spread around different locations to host the data.

Thanks for the info anyway, looks like the only benefit of S2MP is the seamless integration with S3CF. If they could easily integrate with JVZ and W+ they would certainly pull a lot more content creators their way. At least that's what the general conversation online implies.
