Need Help on How to start making money now!

Dear Warriors,

I am here to solicit your help on how I can legitimately make money online.

Firstly, the reason for coming here is that I know we have pool of talented guys here who can help me out of this problem, or is there any other better place I could have gone to?

I was working with a web hosting company which also get some web design jobs in my country, we have been doing great in terms of getting jobs but recently, the owner of the company decided to discontinue the business on the ground that something went wrong with the company's hosting servers, you know all sort of long stories and was stylishly retrenched on the excuse that he can no longer afford to pay our salaries so and .

I have various skills such as: HTML, CSS, Wordpress, Powerpoint, Excel, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Coreldraw etc.

Now my problem is how to start translating these skills of mine to money. I'd like to work at home without working for anybody as I've done in the past.

I need a definitive guide on how to start making money now 'cos I need to settle my rent, children school fees and others.

Lest I forget, I've tried to register with some of this freelancing website like freelancer.com but the whole thing seem overwhelming, bidding without any job given, even tried clickbank, but the question remains how do I get started and make money as soon as possible to settle my debts and move on to making more money to live the kind of life I've always wish to live?

Your help will certainly go a long way in helping me out of this looming embarrassments.

    It's good that you have those skills. Many people are trying to make money online without having any skills. If you are looking for jobs based on those skills you have mentioned ( HTML, CSS, Wordpress, Powerpoint, Excel, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Coreldraw ) you should try first on various freelancing market places. I will suggest you to stick with 1 or 2 market place.

    For newbies Odesk is easy to use and get a job. But now a days it becomes a place where you will not get much money as a newbie. And Elance is also good. Here maximum people have good skills and so you will have more competition as well as more Budget. My suggestion to you is to make the profile as good as possible with some portfolio + some skill tests and bid with less budget ( little as a newbie).

    At last if you really want to make money online then improve and improve your skills. Learn then earn. Money will come automatically.

    As far as a definitive guide goes nobody is going to spoonfeed you, if it was that easy don't you think we'd all be doing the exact same thing?

    As long as you have that NEED you'll scare away money. Your desperation, your need to pay bills, rent, will send off the vibe "I DO NOT have this money, and need it, to get by" and of course, you'll repel money no matter what you do.

    Right now, build a gratitude list of 1,000 things in your life, feel rich, then proceed with the online stuff, and you'll be feeling the right way, to make money online

    If you have all those skills it will be no problem finding jobs online, because most people don't know those skills.

    A lot of people are doing really well on this forum alone by offering their skills to other members. Just check out the classified ads section and see how they offer the skills you can offer too.

    There's plenty of work around, if you take action you'll do fine

Look to offer a service that complements your skills and interests, because your going to be putting in a lot of hours doing it. Then concentrate on giving your clients the very best possible service that you can. This way you have the chance to generate an instant income to pay those bills. Don't take on too much so that your standards and quality slip, or you miss deadlines.

      Once you've given yourself that financial breathing space, look around and see what kind of business you'd like to build online for yourself. Keep up the services until you are in a position to move onto the next step.
