My Situation and What do you think?

First off, let me say that I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to success. Lazyness and not following through/finishing what I start, and stressing. I've been chasing shiny objects for some time now and have not seen any substantial income through my online money making efforts.

The only real money I've made is website design, to date. Though I would like to create other streams of income. Is this just a trap I make for myself when I should just focus on one stream? So that's the first question. How many streams can one person successfully implement? This is considering that I will defeat my personal demons mentioned in the first paragraph.

What I have made money with:
1. Website design
2. Virus removal
3. Facebook page setup

What I could make money with if I would let myself:
1. Solo Ad Reselling ( I have a website up and everything, I just have to make myself advertise)
2. Freebie site training (I'm on step two, I just haven't polished how I'm going to train people and once again, I'll need to advertise.

What I believe I could make money with if I put more time and took action:
1. T-shirt selling ( I have a website up with some t-shirts, I'm actually spending time on this right now)
2. Couponing website (sites up, need to advertise)
3. PPC (This seems like it could be lucrative, I just lack the proper knowledge/training)
4. Managing Facebook pages

Do you think I could get all of these methods up and running, or would it be better to focus on one or two now and the rest after I build up a steady income.

I just need to clear $1400 a month and I can quite my job at the Hampton Inn.

So what do you think. This has been an interesting exercise for myself, just writing it all out already.

    Im in the same boat as you. I have a bunch of different projects setup and sort of "running" but haven'y had huge success on any one thing. Although I have not seen really any success yet, I would say that hard work and perseverance is what is going to help you get your first foot off the ground. I would say focus on one or maybe two MAXIMUM projects at a time to ensure you are putting your best foot forward on one solid basis.

    I think you should focus on 1 or 2 things at max. Focusing on more than that can make you feel overwhelmed. Go for the ones that you enjoy the most and don't feel is as much as a burden.

    I think trying to focus on more than one thing at a time robs you of the time you could have spent seeing one thing through to fruition. However once you have a success under your belt then tackle the next and so on.

    I used to be the same way and found myself juggling way more than I could handle and never finishing anything. Then I would get frustrated and start another new project. It's a sickness

    I have ADD and find it really hard to focus. But I finally forced myself, as difficult as it was, to see just one thing through to the end. I turned off Facebook, Skype and all other distractions. I only check my email twice a day Then I repeated it with my next project, and then another and another and before I knew it, I had a most all of my projects accomplished and started seeing results.

    Now I have learned how to delegate to VA's and can now get more done in a week than I could get done before in 6 months. I am now more and more becoming the director and have others doing most of the heavy lifting. It's a much better way to go.

    Quit chasing the shiny things and concentrate on one specific niche and develop it to where it is providing a good cash flow is will require dedication and concentration. Stay focused.

    Put more hours into what you'd like to focus in , regardless of your current full time job - even if that requires heavy sleep cutting. But do know your limits. Motivation, focus, and will to succeed!!
