Creating WSOs For A Living

Hi Warriors,

I've been using this forum for quite sometime now and I have launched a few WSOs myself, I'm yet to make a lot of money and I'm hardly close to an income that will support me full time, but I know there are others who've launched big businesses using this forum.

I want to be able to make at least $400 a week using the Special Offers section, I don't use Warrior Plus or JVzoo at the moment, would that make a difference??

I would like advise from expert WSO creators, is the WSO section still as profitable as it once was?

Any tips would be great.

All this while I've never used affiliate networks like JvZoo and WarriorPlus because they don't accept merchants from India, would that help me get more sales?? Do let me know.

80-20 rule my friend. 80% of your income from a product launch will come from your affiliates. If you do not host your launch through an affiliate network and have no affiliates promoting for you. It is very hard to make a living unless you have a huge list.

My advice is actually take action on what you want to teach.

I sold about 260 copies of my Wso last month and less than 10% came from affiliates and baout 20% from my own list...

So that's still 182 copies sold from organic traffic in the Wso section, which should prove it's still possible to make a good amount of sales without affiliates.

Just make sure you got a good product, a good angle to promote and you can do really well in the Wso section

        Hi

Thank you for your advice, WarriorPlus has a solution for Indian users now for which I have to pay $19 to list my product, I will give this a try.

I have launched 3 WSOs in the past 2 months and almost all my bumps did make a profit, but very small, if I spent $20 on a bump I usually get back $50, but I've seen Warriors make $1000s.

        Regards

I've seen your WSO a couple of times in the past few weeks...I usually make 8 to 10 sales every bump and usually my product will be priced between $5 to $7, all of which comes from organic WSO traffic, I guess adding an affiliate program would surely help.

Yep! Your sales will definitely increase if you have affiliates promoting for you. Also, do you have a sales funnel. By the looks on your numbers, it seems as though you are only selling a single product.

Just so you understand that you cannot just accept any affiliate without risk of getting ripped off.

I think the title of your thread sort of sums up the flaw in your business model.

Ask James Renouf how listing WSO's for a living is going.

I bet he ate dinner last night.....

My first question to you would be what does the back end of your sales funnel look like?

      Do you have upsells?

Is there a high ticket coaching element, a mastermind group, or some other big ticket item your 'tribe' can snatch up after checking out your front end material?

Are you email marketing to your buyers?

      Question, questions, questions.

It's not so much about launching WSO after WSO, although that's a pretty challenging way to make an easy income.

If that is your plan, you need those other vitally important pieces in place to make it.

Build out your funnels if they aren't already.

You'd be amazed what a few $997-$4997 back end sales will do to mitigate the 100% front commissions in your funnel.

      Work backwards.

Start with the end of the funnel in mind.

Then, after you fail with all of these pieces in place, you can come back and say launching WSO's for a living ain't working.

You have some great points but I think the real issue lies in the dependency of a platform we neither own nor control and that's the major flaw in creating a business model that depends on said platform.

In the blink of an eye it can all go bye bye. LOL I rhymed!

Coming from someone (me) who built his niche website business back in the day that was solely dependent on Google for my income, I'd say you are correct my friend

    This. Exactly.

It's extremely unwise to depend on this (or on any other) forum to make your living.

Who wants to buy WSO's from someone who makes his living selling WSO's?!

If I buy a WSO about a particular technique of internet marketing, I want the person selling it to be making his living from that particular technique of internet marketing, not from selling WSO's. Don't you? Doesn't anyone?!

Please don't take this next comment personally or rudely - I don't mean it that way at all, but I've never heard of you and I see that you have a post-count of 10. I'm therefore wondering whether you know that the major factor involved in "how many WSO's people tend to sell" is who they are, how respected they are, and how well-known they are in the Warrior Forum. Respectfully, you're really not making it easy for people to want to buy WSO's from you, are you?

(Using a real name and having a photo will also help? Again, no impoliteness intended but "proptree7" sounds awfully anonymous. That matters, when you're trying to sell things to people!).

Your problem is those WSOs have customer complaints in them. Your WSOs have "guarantees" - and if you offer a guarantee your product has to live up to it.

This is horrible. I notice your last WSO had terrible reviews. It's hardly surprising you have failed to make a lot of money.

If you're introverted like me and you're not into the whole networking and getting affiliates to promote your offer.

You can make a $400+ easy without affiliates per week.

As long as you know what you are doing and you've built a rep for yourself...

If I were you I'd sell a service or a graphics wso or something.

WSO's started my career but I never saw it as making a living.

    Build a list dude

A better way to make a living? Figure out how you can SERVE.

Right now, you're in a money mindset. That comes from desperation and greed. Get into a "help" mindset and money flows easily. It also gets you to create quality because you *care,* which seems according to comments above, may be an issue in terms of quality.

Never slap stuff up and expect it to help you succeed. Creating products does not equal income. Creating stellar products that people rave about is key. And no, you don't need a huge list. Mine is only 9kish - not big boy standards by any means, but it converts at 30-50%+ because I am serving them.
