My name is Drew Ehlers and I have finally decided to join the Warrior forum! I absolutely love to write, and up until recently I was completely unaware that I could be doing what I love and getting paid for it!

My main question is, "How does this forum work?"

I just visited the Warriors for Hire section and it seemed very congested. Is the only way to find clients to post the $20 fee and hope to receive offers? At this point I am a tiny fish in a massive pond and I am afraid I will be overlooked due to my non-existent reputation here.

I'm really just looking for someone to push me in the right direction . I hope to become an established member of this forum in the coming years. I look forward to getting to know you all! Thanks in advance!

(I have posted this here because I am not exactly sure where this should go. I am sorry if it is in the wrong place!)

Welcome to the WF Drew. The writers for hire section is a good start. Once you get a few clients under your belt, you will be fine. Get your pricing table together and let me know your prices, I will give you a try

Welcome to the Warrior Forum, Drew!

The best way to offer your writing services is to post an advertising thread at the Warriors for Hire section in this forum. Yes, it costs $20, but you'll get your investment back many, many times over.

You can also go the free route by creating a forum signature that lets everybody know what you have to offer. That's what I did when I was a newbie article writer who didn't have $20 to invest in a thread. My signature used to be "Well-Written, Well-Researched Articles Delivered to You on Time! Click Here!" (You can do better than that.) I linked my signature to my website, which was free, by the way. It was a free Weebly site. It had my writing samples and a contact form where my prospective clients could contact me. If you don't have a website yet, try to create one either with Weebly or Blogger. Just have an online portfolio where you can showcase your writing skills.

Then, make sure to participate in the Warrior Forum discussions and help others with your valuable posts. You'll surely get noticed!

For more information on how to create a forum signature, you can watch this .

I hope the Warrior Forum will be a place where you can learn and earn a lot! Best wishes!

Welcome. Well the fee is because in a way the forum can stop spamming. Some forums don't have it and it can be very frustrating!

    Welcome to the forum!

Yes if you want to post an ad in the Wso section you'll need to pay $20 for listing it. I'm sure that's a reasonable amount.

But as you pointed out, you're still new here so i guess it's best you do some preparations before you decide to ffer your services here in the forum. Some things you can do:
    - As you're a writer it shuld be easy to build up your post count and write some engaging posts. So make sure to build up your post count first.
    - Once that is done you should offer some review copies to established members so they can validate you are offering great quality work.
    - When you got your review copies out, you can post an ad in the Wso section, you'll be getting social proof from your reviewers and your business is off to a good start

    Hope this helps!

Thank you all so much for your help! I think I will definitely create a signature and make a website to display my work. I am also considering posting a WSO once I get some reviews. I haven't checked those website yet, but they are intriguing and I will definitely take a glance at them. Thanks for all the information, I believe I will feel right at home here.
