questions About Yahoo Answers

Hi Everybody!
Question is about posting answers on Yahoo site, if you're answering similar questions, let's say something like "how to do certain thing" multiple times, many questions are almost identical, should you always post different answer, or you can post same answer multiple times?

That's the same thing on Google. Why would you answer same thing 10 times!? The idea is to bring more value for users. What would be the reason to post 100 times same answer?

And what point is answering different answers if there is 100 similar questions, sometimes they are even exact, because people are asking same question over and over again, without checking if somebody already asked that already.

I guess since that site is so big, there aren't really unique questions to be asked anymore regularly. With that in mind if everybody would just use the search function, the site would die pretty quick, so i guess they don't really have a problem with answering the same question multiple times. Just try to formulate the answers differently and that will be fine.

Always tailor your answer to that specific person.

Well, I guess that if you started posting, you should post different things, right? I mean, that is what it is all about

Although the people who are posting the question aren't using the search function, that doesn't mean those looking for answers aren't using it. And, if they find your answer is the same from one question to the next, they might just over look it. If there is a specific reason you are answering the same question over and over again, maybe offer some slightly new way of saying it every time or add a little new information. All this could be written out on a Wordpad ahead of time and copied/pasted into the appropriate area as needed. That idea will save you time having to compose your answers as you come across questions.
