payment processing suggestions and alternatives to paypal

hi all,

after hearing some scary stories about paypal freezing accounts so that they can collect interest money off your account (PayPal - Horror Stories, Lawsuits, PayPal Problems) i was wondering if there any alternatives.

i dont feel i can rule out paypal completely as its still the most efficient method for most customers but i was wondering if you guys are aware of any payment processors that integrate paypal, google checkout and debit/credit card payments and is easy to integrate into a simple web form. All i need is a payment button that directs to a secure page hosted by the payment processing company.

i would prefer a solution that only charges you per sale (as paypal does) rather than a service you have to pay a recurring fee for.

As for an alternative to paypal, you might want to checkout this thread: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...es-paypal.html

Amazon has started up its own payment processing system. Might be interesting to take a look.

2Checkout processing booth Paypal and Credit/Debit cards, but some people had problems with them, so I'm not sure it would be good alternative.

One size does not fit all. Some companies have better rates for customers with high dollar per swipe and some offer better deals for those companies who swipe small amounts often.

I would be happy to look over your current statement and provide you a different option.

I guarantee that I will save you money on your statement or will write you a $100 check.

PM me if you have interest.

One payment processor to look out for in the future is Dwolla. Very consumer friendly, as Paypal once was. My two cents.

I think PayPal is such a success becaus it is extremely easy to use for cusomers. as soon as there will be an equivalent with more attention for users PayPal will become less popular. I am using Paysera services at the moment. They offer a range of payment and transaction services. Quite happy with the way they work.
