Forum software that works with Wordpress/Buddypress

Looking for alternatives for BBpress that I can use with my wordpress/ buddypress website.

Ive checked out SimplePress

and heard about possible bridges with Vbulletin and Phbb..

Anyone offer guidance?

I really do not want to go with BBPress for the following reasons

1. Asethics are HORRID!

2. It doesnt allow for much content to be visualized while scanning

    I was going to say BBPress - as that's what I use - but yes, it's not like Vbulletin.

    I don't know about any "good" bridges - but there are some out there...like I said tho...as for "good"...

    And, you can work on the aesthetics via CSS.
