I can appreciate this. I sometimes will pick up something I have an interest in learning a bit more about. Not necessarily something I will pursue, but gives me some information so I understand more when someone else brings up a subject.

The problem here is you've kind of contradicted yourself. What seems impossible to accomplish? Why not question the author of the book you've read and ask questions? Or better yet do some deeper research on what ever was discussed and discover for yourself what will or will not work?

There are tons of ways to make money online (or even offline).

I think you need to ask yourself some questions first.

What (topic) do you have considerable knowledge about yourself?

Is that topic something that others might be willing to pay you for? This could be a skill, or a particular niche.

What is the best way for you to deliver or provide this information?

You find your direction by introspect and creating future targets to aim towards.

Before buying another "how to make money doing ???" I'd suggest you look into some self help type ebooks that will help you to narrow down finding that direction.

I won't give you any specific books. I will recommend going to amazon for the downloads there as you can get some sneak peeks of books and see if something resonates with you.
