    Hey Aaron!

In my opinion, the best, and most effective, way for me to target my audiences has been mainly on Social Media networks.

While forums have worked great for me in the past, nothing has come close to the results of using Social Media sites to be relevant and target the right audience.

Preferably, I like to use Facebook Ads to help me target the right audience for an offer that I would promote.

    I hope this helps you!

I would say forum marketing, ppc and solo ads is the best way to target your audience.

Also media buying usig big data works amazing if you know what you're doing.

Social Media is probably the best nowadays! Shared content is so powerful.

Don't overlook other sites in your niche. Any web property where niche participants frequent is a candidate for your sign-ups, offers, and content.

Web portals and authority sites are very targeted (as much or more so than general social media sites) and often will give you the highest conversions.

I have even tapped into sites that are in the same market but not necessarily the same specific niche. For instance, photographers selling into the wedding market. The important thing is that you find your audience in places where they logically congregate and spend money.

Forums are great for taking about behind-the-scene aspects of audience targeting, while social media should be where you carry out your strategy.

    Aaron,

I would have to go with pay per click.

You can market to the people who are looking for specific keywords. This is very effective and it works.

I use Adzuum.com, it's cost effective and I can target audience by their interest, location & age. It's like Facebook Ads, but doesn't just focus on one website.

I have been reading a lot about Solo Ads recently, but saw somewhere it's not ideal for high ticket items, I sell small items, but want to start doing bundle deals. Has anyone used Solo Ads for large ticket items and how did it go?

For a super targeted audience I would suggest you Joint Venture with someone in your niche who has an email list and ask them to promote your product to their hopefully very responsive list.

If you are list building yourself, I would survey my list on the content they want and then create a product according to their needs. There you have the most targeted audience you could ever have!

There are 3 major ways of doing it online.

    1. SEO: use the best combination of keywords targeted for your niche.
    2. Social Media: Build your profiles and keep your network engaged by regular posting.
    3. Paid search / Display (PPC): Pay for your audience.
