$100 is a bit more than I started with.

How you can make money depends mostly on what knowledge and especially what skills you have. What skills do you have?

Sounds like you already started, anyway, if you have a squeeze page?

All that's excellent. Starting off with an Aweber subscription puts your chances far ahead of those of "the average beginner".

That's not so good. That's the part you'd be well advised to change your mind about, Jamie. That's one of the very few things that your first niche definitely shouldn't be.

That's a niche you might need as a customer, not one you can serve as a marketer.

Getting involved in IM-related and/or MMO-related niches is the single commonest mistake that beginning internet marketers make, and the single commonest reason for their failures. It's because so many people get drawn into doing that, that the overall success-rate is so very low. Internet marketing is difficult enough as it is: there's really no need to stack the deck against yourself to so great an extent.

Affiliate sales are made on the strength of how much people trust you, and much respect they have for you, and how much valuable information you can provide them with, and so on. You don't yet have enough experience of IM to be able to pull that off, in an IM-related niche. The one thing which you're guaranteeing, by choosing an IM niche, is that the marketers against whom you're competing for the same traffic include some of the most experienced, most successful, most professional and best-funded ones out there. Do you really want to start out like that?

Most people here will disagree with me, but I advise any newbie to try (and use) some (nearly) free traffic methods first. Think forum marketing, blog commenting, own blog, etc ...
It is so easy to blow away $100 on bad traffic.
    Good luck!

NO! Not the IM niche! There are plenty of niches and micro niche you can tap into that can increase your ROI and minimize your risk. IM niche as a beginner will just go down an endless spiral..

I don't want to recommend any course or sell my own BUT I recommend tapping into FB marketing selling Tees or something rather. Where you can control your budget, tighten your targeting and just minimize your risk all together.

However, $100 budget is a bit hard to get started in any paid traffic methods...

        Yes Jamie,

Find a product that you are ACTUALLY interested in, trust me it helps push you forward, as opposed to being bored out of your brain, pushing something you have no passion for.

Also do some research to make sure the product has ENOUGH demand for it, also check to make sure there is competition in the market place.

If you have 2 green lights then start promoting...

If you are low on funds right now ($100 I would put in this catagory) then start promoting your link to your facebook, make youtube videos with info on the product your going to be selling, twitter, classified ad websites.

In any case good luck, and if you need any help, just ask

        Craig

with 100 dollars I would do some influencer marketing.

  • You could easily build a website using WordPress or Squarespace even without any coding skills. But I would suggest learning a bit of HTML/CSS so you could do some basic maintenance on your site.

I agree, it's not enough to do some good advertising.

But I think it is enough to get STARTED sending traffic to your squeeze page. But one of the pieces of information you left out is how much time you have to dedicate to your venture. If you have some time to put in work, I suggest keeping the $100 and going with free methods like youtube videos, social media marketing, forum marketing, etc.

If you don't have time to work on your business, but do have time to wait on the money to start rolling in, then go with solo ads. Buy 250 clicks and get up to 150 subscribers. Make $150 then do the same thing again.

This is a slow method, but it's either Time or Money!
