Text Based vs Video Based

Hi everyone! I'm pretty new to the Internet Marketing industry but have decided to give it a shot, particularly with SEO marketing (although I'm still a toddler in terms of learning)

I was skimming some of the threads looking for some basic guides and how tos etc and found a mix of text based guidelines as well as video based. Although both are very helpful, I want to ask when you were new, which of these methods did you prefer and would recommend? Is one more effective than the other?

    When you say either text based, or video based. . I'm guessing you mean which type of SEO would be the most effective.

    In my opinion, video based SEO would be best for 2 reasons

    1. Most of society is visual and the rate at which we are is still growing. . . which is why YouTube gets over a billion hits per day.

    2. The possibility of your video marketing going viral is much greater. Not too many people are more willing to read an article or a blog post rather than a video. Don't get me wrong, blogs and articles are still effective! I just believe that most SEO should be video based in order for a business to go to the next level.

    I figured that people are more enticed with that they see in video rather than reading blogs or web content.
