What sort of sales are you referring to?
Are you referring to traditional sales involving building relationships with decision makers via phone, email and meetings?

The best way to handle this is to understand exactly where your current sales and revenue come from. You'll be able to understand the most effective revenue sources and areas you can ramp up. At Freelancer.com and Warrior Forum we have very detailed and comprehensive dashboard graphs that we use to understand what is happening at any given point in time.

If revenue/sales increase or decrease you'll be able to easily identify exactly what source contributed to that movement.

        Here's a simple example:
If you are making 10 sales a day and have analytics around the sales, you'll know for example that 2 sales come from adwords, 4 sales come from fb ads and 4 sales come from affiliates.

You should plot this over time and identify movements in each source. You'll then know exactly what has contributed to drops and increases and what areas to work on.
