Using celebrities for advertisement

Hey guys,

I am thinking about celebrities for advertisement.

For example, if Justin Bieber says he likes something, many girls are going to try it.

It is just my assumption.

I am not sure.

I really want to hear some ideas about this.

It just pops up on my head and I am thinking it may be a good way.

Your assumption is very true but make sure you can afford Justin Bieber to say what you want him to say.

Well there's no doubt they have clout but maybe your budget would be better spent elsewhere?

(I can only imagine how much a celebrity endorsement would cost haha... But you CAN buy celebrity Tweets for relative cheap money... Google it)...

We tried, not easy, and very expensive. Why anyone would want to talk to Justin Beiber anyway is beyond my understanding...

either way, if you made headway you would have to get passed a bunch of secretaries, agents, lawyers, and other gatekeepers. If you're lucky, you might eventually get through to the actual celebrity. You get a meeting. Then the follow ups are back to the gatekeepers. And if there is an interest, it's going to cost a lot.

Of course celebrities work for marketing!!

But, don't think you need some A list celebrity. If you're working with a local business, you could hire a local DJ or News Anchor. Local celebrities work great too!

I do this all the time for my email marketing. Gotta love it when you can just piggyback off what celebs say!

  • I highly recommend looking for ways to utilize celebs to endorse products online.

A long time ago, I was helping a book author with promotion, and the book was literally brand new and had zero advertising.

We got in contact with a famous author to help market the published book in her newsletters and Facebook page and other sites, and she led us to a site online that sold Twitter advertisements.

I got my book author client to have that famous author talk about the book on Twitter.

I don't use this form of a marketing anymore, but it works.

You could get tons of celebs to market for you on Twitter and make a tweet for you. UFC fighters, Ariana Grande, Mariah Carey, etc......

    Here's the site: SponsoredTweets.com

Just make sure you don't do anything without their consent. You could sued if a celebrity finds out your used their name without their permission to advertize something. I heard that happened with the money hungry Kardashians. Someone put up a banner with the Kim on it and bang! He Got sued!

Search for how to hire second- or third-tier celebrity endorsement for cheap in the Gary Halbert letter archives.

Yes you can use celebrities if you can afford one. That is where the problem is. Unless you have something else that you can do for them to promote you. its up to you my friend

Have you looked into getting on TV or radio or even in print talking about your product, it can be very powerful stuff if you do it correctly. OK, good luck, Edward Smith.

It's kind of a celebrity culture we live in. Everybody wants to be a celebrity!

You could probably get a struggling band or b-movie scream queen pretty cheap that would still be effective.
