What is the best way to do affiliate marketing without a website?

Hey guys,

I recently started doing some ppc ads on Bing/Yahoo network for a couple Clickbank affiliate links? Would you recommend doing this exclusively without a blog or website? Any good strategies or resources would be helpful.

Hi,I recommend you to promote cpa offers not clickbank products with bing ads, in fact, you will make it even you don't have a website. That's bing ads not adwords.

Can you please post a list of CPA networks that will approve you without a website?

Peerfly is perhaps the most well-known one that springs to mind, but really your question belongs here (where it's very regularly asked ... and answered): Ad Networks (CPM/CPL, Display, SEM)

        .

My question belongs exactly where it is, as a response to a previous post in this thread. I didn't ask for my own benefit, I asked to make a point that one not having their own site will limit their ability to apply and be accepted to CPA networks and many other affiliate networks.

I also made the post to call out the person I replied to...If one is going to suggest applying to CPA networks that don't require websites, how about some specifics instead of generalities?

I don't need to have a list of CPA networks that don't require websites to apply. I own plenty of websites, and have since 1996.

There was nothing to "call out". The person to whose post you replied shouldn't feel estopped from replying at all just because he doesn't happen immediately to have available a list of CPA networks which accept people without websites. He still made the point that there are some, and of course he was right about that.

His post was perfectly valid. I didn't realise it, at the time I replied (in an attempt to help you), but it turns out to have been yours that was questionable in intent. Perhaps I should have foreseen that. Sorry - my mistake.

And my post was an attempt to help everyone without a site realize that they would be much better off if they spent the time and effort to create one, not for the person I responded to to actually post a list. Let's call it a "semi-rhetorical" question. I thought I explained this to you...

Another mistake on your part. But I forgive you.

I can agree that maybe I didn't make my point that well the first time.

However, I made my point perfectly clear in my second post. So to answer this last question, read my second post "slowly and carefully".

No i dont recommend it. Just get a site and landing page up, and stop trying to go for the fast buck. Do it right once, get paid forever.

I would never recommend doing affiliate marketing exclusively without a blog or website. There are ways to promote links directly. Why not do a mix. Promote that way and also promote your site or blog?

Sometimes a mix of methods can pay off.

    My opinion anyways.

Not a good idea, it may seem like extra work but you will get better results and become a better marketer if you get into the habit of creating landing pages or squeeze pages each time.

    All the best

STOP Learn as much as you can before you spend a dime. Affiliate marketing is the best to start but you have to do some research. It is not just putting out a few emails and the money will drop into your paypal account. Like any other online business you need to get help in understanding how to advertise.
1 look professional 2 get professional emails if you use email swipes from the affiliate that is provided Change it to your own liking do not just send it out as the other 20,000 people.
3 Help as many people to solve a problem let them know how you solved your problem so they can see how. 4 Build up a trust start to do something for people free this will build your business.
Take courses free or paid it will help. Last DO NOT GIVE UP It takes time you have no magic button to press its you and your business. Ask your self a question why would anyone purchase from me. When you solve that question you are making money. If you are interested in affiliate marketing please visit my links.
    To your success
    Keep trying

You can earn some money by sending people directly Clickbank, but you'd also lose a lot of money. Instead, you should send them to your landing page where you'd give free report related to the product you are promoting. If they sign up to get the report, they are probably interested in the product. Include a link/image to the clickbank product on the "Thank You" page. If they don't buy the product, you'd still have their email addresses.

Have you been getting result from this method? if you are satisfied with your result, then keep it up. if no, then i advise you build list with your ppc ad not just sending the traffic direct to the vendor page.

If setting up a website seems daunting to you, setting up a blog, or a landing page will be good enough. Setting up a page can be easy especially when there are lots of ready made templates that you can already use.

I would set up a blog or a website and use it not only to market with your affiliate link but for other marketing as well. A blog I think is best as you can always post on the blog and talk to people by posting and if people get to like you, you will sell more products.

It's usually a bad idea to send your traffic directly to the merchant offer, for a number of reasons.

Why not just start a blog, - it's easy enough to get going.

I don't want to hijack the thread but there are sites which allows hosted landing pages so you don't even need a domain name nor need to create any page anywhere. For example, here is a landing page I create using inBoundio Sample Hosted Landing Page which gets hosted on the site and it took me 30 second to create it. I am sure there are other such sites too.

There is a classical IM book called "Google Cash" that you can download for free. But it is very old and a lot of it does not work anymore. PPC direct to merchant does work. It took me more than 10 years on and off in order to make it work. But I have used Adwords as a merchant before so I know exactly what keywords will convert and what will not. But it is very volatile and I am not dong that well at the moment.

You can use sign up form to collect leads and than send your offer with affiliate link to the subscribers. Or you can promote your affiliate products through Facebook ads, banner adveritisng, Forum signatures, CPC networks etc. All of these will cost you money.

Make sure that the affiliate sales page is high converting so that you will make a good profit.

Another alternative is to use free advertising sites like CraigsList and Backpage, Backpage is working wonderful for me right now

You can promote links without a website through PPC but still if you are looking for long term and stable income, it is best to still have your own website. You can use the site to collect your list for email marketing. I find it more profitable to build a list rather than spend money on PPC when of course you are looking at long term goals.

    Hi,

You could allow your email A.R. to host a lead capture page for you so you
won't need hosting to build your lists first.

But how you construct this using the affiliate platforms you're using is up to
    you.

I've seen many affiliate marketers do this to great affect.

You grab the email then direct them straight to an affiliate offer.

You may want to try this approach instead.

    Good luck,
    Gavin

Here is the best resource I can recommend:

Driving paid traffic to anything other then a squeeze page is a mistake, IMO.

You could allow your email A.R. to host a lead capture page for you
I've done this with both FB and mobile ads. It's great for testing a new traffic source or offer.

As long as you are not building a list then you can directly link to the offer page on the PPC platforms, there is certainly nothing wrong about it.

The best way to do affiliate marketing without a website is by means of PPC. PPC will give you the ability to maximize your conversion rate by using keyword targeting. There are lots of successful IM'ers that will tell you the same thing.
