Hello

IS there any website where you can upload files and have it copied on a Cd/DVD and get it shipped in the US.

Kunaki.com has the lowest prices and good quality for this.

Check out Marcia Yudkin's No-Hype Marketing Academy for courses on copywriting, publicity, infomarketing, marketing plans, naming, and branding - not to mention the popular "Marketing for Introverts" course.

I guess I'm curious why the files would have to be copied to a CD/DVD and couldn't be delivered online as a download? It would certainly cut down shipping costs.

I've heard good things about Kunaki. It's probably you best option. DiscMakers is good but will likely be more expensive.

You could also buy a duplicator and make your own. If you use inkjet printable discs, you could then print right on the disc. Print the DVD cover, package it up and send it out.

I've been producing my own for a few years now. I buy a couple hundred blank printable DVDs, cases, inserts and plastic sleeves. I make them on demand. They look great and I've never had anyone ask for a refund.

For my guitar products I offer digital download, DVD or both. About 40% purchase the DVD version. Of that group about 50% of them pay extra to get both the download and the DVDs. I would prefer just to do the downloads because it is easier but some people still like to have the physical product. So as much as I think DVDs are a thing of the past, not everyone does. I think it is based on age but also location as a lot of the physical products I ship are oversees.

        Or Disk.com.

Or fulfillment houses like SpeakerFulfillmentServices.com or Vervante.com.

        Hope that helps!

I agree with dana, I would much prefer download or stream. My computer doesn't even have a place to put a CD lol.

I am not sure, why you are thinking about the CD or, DVD. First of all you can take this online. After downloading this content you can write this content on CD or, DVD. The will no freight/ shipping cost. If is better than your shipping / Traditional business. No need to any website here. If the CD or, DVD is expensive in US & shipping charge is low, you can give me the content to another country by email/ google drive/ dropbox or, some thing like this, they will write CD or, DVD & ship to you.

  • For those of you questioning why not offer an instant download instead of a CD or DVD, there are certain instances when delivering your product in either format may prove more beneficial to both the customer, and to you as vendor.

    1. Perceived value.
You can increase the price dramatically ($497 - $997) when offering let's a say a home study course in a "20 CD/DVD box set" versus an simple instant download. People are still conditioned to pay more for hard copies wrapped in a nice package.

    2. You can make your product more easily available on market places such as eBay and other shopping sites that are not as instant download friendly.

    3. File size. Ever tried downloading a 4.7 GB file? Especially in an area where internet speed sucks, many customers prefer to receive a DVD etc. In my industry, especially Sound FX, sometimes people even order files on an external hard drive.

These are just a few reasons....
