I am 100% new to website building can someone help?

The fastest way to get targeted traffic is paid advertising.

Free methods include:
Articles, videos, images that are engaging to the prospect and makes them want to click you link and view your offer.
Seo (incl backlinks) is to get your site ranked well in search engine like Google.

Pick one traffic generation method and learn it well. Apply it. Then add another and so on. Free traffic generation takes time, sometimes a few weeks to a month.

I suggest you search the forum for free WSO's and check out the Warroom. Download the free info on traffic generation and study it. Then decide which one method / system to start with. Learn all you can about it and even invest paid products about it.

Build a list. This will give you prospects to market to. Make sure to build a relationship with them.

Just don't give up.

The first thing to do is have a clear understanding of your target market, industry and niche. Then look for free distribution channels for your niche that will give your website exposure. This should drive some sales. There are many free methods to drive targeted traffic that will not cost you money. However, this path is generally slow generating revenues unless you get very lucky. Figure out these free methods to get your business started.

Once your website starts making sales, I would suggest investing most of your profits back into your business and then increased paid advertising and promotion. Most businesses don't turn a profit for the first three years due to this reinvestment tactic. Track all of your advertising and promotion efforts for effectiveness.

Then expand into new advertising territory by trying out new sources of advertising. Only start this expansion stage once your revenues have begun to grow. Expect to lose some advertising money at this stage. As the saying goes "You don't know what you don't know" and you just have to keep testing advertising sources to find the good ones. In the long run you will have many sources of revenue which, is an absolute must to keep your income stable should you lose a revenue stream. Unfortunately there is no crystal ball that will guarantee sales. Just keep at it and used a structured expansion model and you'll be just fine.

alfieandbertie, The good thing is you have a drive to make this work for you and thats determination. What you need now is consistency and lots of patience if you intend to use free traffic cause that takes time. But if you want to see quick traffic to your website then paid traffic is your best bet like my fellow warrior have said if you have the money to spend on traffic.

Thats is just the way it works.

You must have succeeded if you are trying to get traffic. You might want to make sure your site will convert visitors to buyers before you start trying to send them there.

To get instant traffic, you will have to go the paid route and i am suggesting that you check out www.tubeassist.com . Its a site that will help you get targeted YouTube traffic.

You need to buy a video course on how to use wordpress for building website.

you need to buy a wp plugin to enable you to use wp as a website, for example, instabuilder.com

and finally put your product on your wp site for sale.

You dont have to buy a video course. Sorry Amer A. Check youtube. In fact I learnt wordpress from there and the person I learnt it off does as a living. As for traffic, you can do explore the options of free and paid. I know some great ways of doing both. Hit me if your interested.

What's the site look like?, .. what money magnets are you using to draw people into your funnel?

Paid traffic is always the best. (It's immediate)

The fastest way for you to get some free traffic is to join a bunch of forums and but a link in your signature
using a question and a benefit.. This should get you a good amount of quality traffic but make sure the forums that you are using are related to your site.
