Writing your own articles.. Clickbank

I am going to cut some costs and write my own 500-1000 word article for my clickbank product I will be promoting with youtube. I will be reading forums, reviews, and clickbank spot lights to get information to write them. I was just wondering what is good to include in these articles... I am just trying to make sure I don't make it to spammy looking when I do write it.. Any tips would be great..

Thank you

Me personally I would visit a website such as Ezine Articles and search there for similar articles to get some ideas, not suggesting by any means you copy anything but it may give you an idea on writing styles etc

I would include the benefits of the product such as what it does for you etc. Also, I would compare it with another similar product but give the one I'm promoting a little more hype so that they would see that you are rooting for the product you are promoting.

Use Adwords and do some keyword research. That will show you what people are interested in reading.

Don't just focus on the features. Let the readers know what the product can do for them and how they can benefit from it.

Doing some keyword research is a great way to find out what people are looking for so you can use that as a base to build your articles.

When making articles for your product, always show the VALUE of your product.

Answer this question people will always have in mind -"Why should I buy your product?". Focus on this question and write your articles.

I am going to cut some costs
Sounds more like you will cut some profit. Poorly written copy will not make sales.

Writing copy that sells is an acquired skill. If you don't know how, you will cut costs by outsourcing some good pre-sell copy.

To earn more money, you need to scale it up. More articles more leads more sales.

You can still cut your costs by using plr articles.
That will help you in both terms
The first one is to give you the ideas that you`re looking for on youtube, forums and reviews
The second one is to prevent you for being spam, since you will reword these plr articles before publishing them on the web

  • The easiet way is to write a walkthrough of the product, if writing is a problem you can always do a walkthrough video and get it transcribed. Wah Lah! Content DONE!

Welcome to article writing. Write for your targeted audience, and do some proper KWR first. Make your articles engaging - u'll need to write some few more articles, based on the keywords you get, for the same product.

The best thing about it is that you are writing the articles, you have control of the content. Do proper review in an engaging way, and a proper research too. Check out how your competitors are doing it.

Think of it a little like this: I'm gonna assume you may have a website or some sort of "vehicle" you will use to insert these articles into.

Like some have said, writing articles or sales copy is learned. It takes skill. Also, see if you can think about it not so much as spending money on articles, but investing in yourself or your business.

Would you cut quality out of your own vehicle (car) quality to save a little money?

My 10 cents, my 2 cents is free

Focus on your audience. List their potential needs and format sentences that will help them. Think like your target audience. Ask yourself on how you will respond to your copy. While you can outsource this, it is pretty useless lest you can tell what a good copy is from a bad one. You still need to learn marketing in the end.

Don't want it to look spammy? Then write with the intent to help. It's that simple.

Now go ahead and do it. There seems to be too much on your mind. Act on one and adjust along the way. You don't need to plan everything.

Just keep focused on your topic, and be you. Do exactly what you know you can do, which is write. Write it out and see how it looks, style it up and see how it looks. If you don't like it then make some small changes and then put it out there! Only way you'll know if it works is if you try it and put it out there

I always use my 8 secret sub-headings whenever I write product reviews.
What would your target buyers want to know? Determine those and group them into sub-headings.
That'll be your outline when you write then.

Just offer real good information that relates to the product that you are selling. Doesn't have to be perfect. Just sell it.

Focus on the top questions in the niche. The niche you have (hopefully) has problems that they need help with.

Help them with the problems and show that you KNOW how to get them from where they are to where they want to be.

    An example:

I had a "How to build chicken coop" guide on Clickbank.

My free offering was a report that showed how to keep your chickens safe from predators and how to pick a decent spot in your yard for a chicken coop.

After they had read the report and got out in the yard and were PLANNING their chicken coop - which guide do you think they bought that showed them how to build it?

    All the best,

    Chris Jones
