Time to quit bitching and get back to making money

I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but it's time to stop the whining and give the new owners a break. IMO the WF has improved, and I understand not everybody is happy, but some people tend to go over board.

I think it is hilarious to threaten the WF over the changes to the WSO section, when that same WSO section is what gave your start.

You have people who whine over the price of the WSO's going down, because it means less time on the first page, and you have people upset with the new design. Some of the feedback is legit, but a lot of it is just Warriors being selfish and throwing a fit.

If you disagree with the new owners, why not just submit feedback on the Suggestion Forum instead of taking out threads to purposely try and get other warriors to bash the new owners just because you don't like the new changes.

There are two kinds of people on the warrior forum.... Most who make little to no money online, and the handful who makes tons of money off those people. If you are part of the handful who makes alot of money off this forum, be grateful. This is the Warrior Forum, not the YOU Forum.

I see one of the admins named Alaister going from thread to thread trying to please everybody, and I don't think it's fair. Some of you have made and continue to make 5-6 figures off this forum, but have the nerve to bitch and threaten to leave when something doesn't go your way.

My mother always told me " if you don't like it, then don't eat it " Nobody is forcing you to be a member of the WF, and you shouldn't have to abuse the new owners to get your point across.

Thank you for posting this, Alex. REAL TALK, finally. Complaining and whining never made anyone any money. The world REWARDS ACTION. This means putting in the work.

    This needed to be said.

Since WF had new ownership, some have not been happy
even though the changes haven't been bad.

    Can't please everyone.

Let the whiners leave. Many of those people equate POST VOLUME with QUALITY. Plus many who complain are simply AFRAID OF CHANGE. I haven't come across any TRULY SUCCESSFUL person who fears change. Successful people LOVE change. They MASTER change.

There is nothing wrong with complaining, but I don't think it's fair to try and get other members to turn on the Administration. I've seen people take out threads for the sole purpose to flame and get others to flame on the new owners. I think it's selfish, and unfair to the new owners, who have did a lot to improve the forum.

It's like me not liking the moderators or admins, and saying I don't like the moderators, who's with me? If you have a problem with the administration, take it up with them, if not keep it to yourself.

I knew shady stuff was going on.

They'll eventually come around though I'm
suprised that someone has been trying to intiate a flame war.

I'll give it another month or two and we all will forget about this.

      Alex -

      Correction.

Alaister is the person answering questions - there is a member named Alister, too, but not the same person.

Is that confusing enough for ya?

Lol, thanks for correcting that for me, I had a feeling I was close

I felt bad for the guy, because he is trying his best to please everyone, and Warriors keep pouring more crap on him.

    Some of us never stopped.

Some people see anything other then going along with the flock as whining. Usually because they are too gutless to say anything themselves.

My mother also had a saying; "The squeaky wheel gets the grease."

I agree, attacking the admin is pointless. Expressing your thoughts, feelings and opinions is not. No matter how much it seems to bother some people.

I can tell the difference between whining and legitimate concerns. I myself had some concerns, but the whining I am referring to are the threads taken out just to bash the administration and get the Warriors wild up.

Some people have taken the changes harder than others and started a campaign to bash the new owners on the forum and off on facebook. I've seen your thread, and like me, you were concerned about new changes, but you were willing to accept them like I have and like you said "you've moved on"

Some will not be able to "move on" and decided to take out a grudge against the new owners, and I don't think it's fair. If something bothers you so much, the best remedy is to walk away.

You have a very cool mother Alex. My mother always told me, "Eat it or wear it."

      George Wright
      She wasn't that cool

We were dirt poor, so if it was over food she would say "if you don't like it don't eat it" then take my plate away and tell me to eat air

She used that saying with other things also, which she was basically telling me "take it or leave it "

We have to accept the good with the bad, or just walk away and don't use the product the WF are putting out there for us.

I had my concerns about the forum becoming too commercial, and it has somewhat, but it doesn't bother me to the point where I feel I have to be an a-hole about it.

By the way, the world needs more "eat it or wear it" moms, a lot kids nowadays are allowed to do what ever they want

While I'm not crazy about some of the changes (like some of the new icons - the report triangle is almost invisible), I am very happy about some of them (like how I haven't had a database error in a long time).

Since I don't buy ads or sell WSOs here, those changes don't affect me at all.

Like any new administration, the early results are a mixed bag, but there's enough on the plus side for me to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I agree with people being able to have their "say" - and to disagree with changes if that's how they feel.

There are a few people making it a "cause' and that's just stupid because they can't win. What do they hope to accomplish with a "campaign of complaints" here and on Facebook and blogs? They don't own the joint so they have no leverage in the long view.

Post your concerns then decide if you can live with the new format or not. If you can't, find another place to sell or buy or talk. Stay out of the sections that bother you here.

It's like going to your favorite top notch restaurant. For years you eat there 2-4 times a month at great expense. You love the food, you like the owner, it's your "go to" eating place. Then you go in one Saturday night and there are new owners - the menu has changed - your favorite entree is not on the menu.

What do you do? You try the new menu - if you like it, fine. If you don't like it, you find another "favorite restaurant".

You don't claim ownership because you spent money there in the past - you don't stop by every day week after week to complain about the new owner and new menu.

You adapt or you move on.

I respect people who dislike certain changes and let that be known, however you have to give the new owners some time. They have made some changes and some of them may not be permanent. In my opinion the forum has gotten better as a whole.

I really can't recall to see that kind of threads. Some posts maybe but no thread to bitch the new owners.

Some have been threads run by admin to ask our opinion - so they have to take it.

Some have been opened by members expressing the bad experience with some of the changes, positive for that the owner can adopt as this Forum should be USER FRIENDLY.

Can you point to a meaningless thread you are mentioning please?

Generally speaking you are totally right, bitching and bad mouthing won't get us anywhere. Guess the active members in here know that too.

It's a bit like wearing new shoes, at the beginning they hurt a bit.

In the beginning there were some who were somewhat rude in regards to the price of WSOs being dropped down. For the most part, with a couple of exceptions, are voicing their opinions on some important issues that should be resolved and they're doing it politely. The issues have been ongoing for some time now and they are not resolved and may never be resolved. Some of them are basic forum functions lost in the redesign and some, are outside factors, like the forum filling up with spam posts since the purchase. People voicing their opinions on these topics are not bashing administrators. They are asking for a remedy.

I'm sure you guys have come across a few of these threads, no need to put any names out there. Like I said, there are legitimate concerns out there, and glitches that need to be fixed, but there are also warriors who are telling the owners what they should or not do, or else.

Like I said before, if you don't like the product the new owners are putting out, then simply walk away.

I didn't start this thread to go back and forth over what is giving feedback and what is whining. I just don't think it's fair the way some warriors have been acting towards the new ownership. Letting the owners know about the glitches that need fixing, opinions on the design, is feedback. Telling the new owners what they should be charging or how to run their own forum or else, is not giving feedback. It is called throwing a fit because you can't have your way.

Giving feedback is great, but not to be confused with unreasonable demands. You have Warriors threatening to take their business elsewhere, I mean come on. Nobody has the right to tell a company how it should run itself.

For years the WF has been a great place, in come new owners and make a few changes to monetize the site, and all the sudden it's the worse place on the planet.

I see, thought that this has ended.

Complaining that the WSO priced dropped is a joke, you get 2 bumps for one before, what can be bad about this? (regardless of a view new guy's publishing WSO's)

I'm a favor to charge 100 for a WSO to streamline, but it's a mass market so there is no chance that this will happen.

You have Warriors threatening to take their business elsewhere, I mean come on. Nobody has the right to tell a company how it should run itself.
That will always happen, it's natural that there are fights in a relationship.

But both need each other and as the WF won't go anywhere else, it will be open to the unhappy to leave. But this will only happen with people which didn't found value in posting WSO's.

Above is actually a positive thing. Natural clean up.

I'm sure that Alaister is on a level and a pro in Management and don't get nervous about such claims.

    This is business, nothing personal.
