  • I'm gonna say avoid paying for reviews and promote for free on social media. Post daily and people will find your eBook.
  • If you buy reviews you will get booted from Amazon.

    • My clients never had any issues with purchased reviews. Real Amazon accounts does not raise any red flag.

  • Don't buy reviews. Just promote your ebook and encourage people to leave a review.
  • You can sell it through Amazon also.

    • Thanks everyone for the replies. I will implement suggestions.
    • I hate to break it to you, but Kindle IS Amazon. The Kindle Marketplace is the section of Amazon.com dedicated to selling the various Kindle models and related products (like the ebooks themselves).

  • I agree. Give away review copies and ask for reviews rather than paying for them.

  • Don't loose your kdp account, be careful.
  • Hey there! Ya I'd say try out fiverr for this, that will definitely get you a lot more views - people always looking to promote stuff, but you should keep up with promoting on social sites too because there is just so much traffic to not want to use it! Keep it up, you'll find a spot that you'll be happy with soon, just keep organized and you'll do well friend

  • Use social media. There are TONS of people there looking to drive traffic to you. You just have to find them, engage them, and be credible. Unfortunately, too many people are looking for 'quick and easy' solutions and they fail.

  • id focus more on the free and ad services then paying for actual reviews, just makes everything easier and more legit so you dont get people on false pretenses
  • Will you pay buyers to come buy your book? If not, how can you even think of buying reviews? If you buy reviews, you ain't fooling Amazon, you are fooling yourself.

Promote your book on Social media and website and look for directories where you can submit your Kindle book for free to get enough reviews to raise visibility on Amazon. Good luck :-)

    • Hi all, I am new to internet marketing and I wrote an ebook is that published on amazon. I would like to ramp up the sales. Do you have any ideas how I can go about doing this? I have posted threads in a couple of forums listing the link to the book and requesting reviews. How can I ramp up sales?

It's a book on travel and romance.

  • You have uploaded your eBook on Kindle. Of course you choose right place to sell. If your book content & book cover is good, your sell will be increased day by day.
  • Why would you pay for Amazon reviews when you get REAL ones for FREE by giving away copies of your books on Goodreads and LibraryThing?
  • You mentioned that you have opened a website to promote your book. Drive free traffic to your site and offer the book for free in exchange for an email and ask for a review. This way you can build a list for your next ebook. Also you should consider doing an audio book version of your ebook. You can use audible but remember for the 40% royalty you have to give them exlusive selling rights. Not cool. Instead take the 25% royalty and promote your audio book as well as your ebook from your own site. Consider this man: All the traffic that you drive to your site, you should not have to cut those sales with Amazon. Anyways, I would focus promotion on your site and selling from your site. Let Amazon sales trickle in.

As far as the audio book goes, it's easy to find a narrator. Start on fiverr and look around. It will probably cost a little more than 5 bucks but usually you can get it done for pretty cheap. Audio books are hot man. You can sell them from your own site.

Good luck in all your ventures brother!

  • blogs are always a good start

    • Yes, that's correct but bringing traffic to blog is a mammoth task!
  • I suggest you not to buy reviews. You can promote your e-book on relevant Facebook pages and groups. You may hire a SMM expert to help you.

    • Ok, but facebook group and page promotion is not worth. I am saying this as per my previous experiences.
