Best way to sell low-volume of eBooks?

I'm looking for ways to sell a couple of my own eBooks on a niche blog. I don't need any sales pages (for now) because I want to sell directly to my readers, and I know they will buy it.

What would be the best, easiest and cheapest option to set this up? Ideally, it would be great if I'm able to sell directly from my website rather than take them somewhere else, but I'm very inexperienced with selling my own eBooks.

Thanks for any help guys!

      TLondon,

I would suggest you look at e-Junkie.

Their starter account is only $5/month. You can sell up to 10 different products at that level.

It works with many different payment systems including PayPal.

It is secure and they handle the digital delivery of the product, emails to the buyer, really everything you need to sell directly off your web site.

You just configure your account (not difficult), copy and paste a little bit of code to your web site which puts their shopping cart for your items and a payment button on your web site wherever you want.

      It's easy and fast.

Yes, there are many other alternatives. I've used e-Junkie with good success.

      Good luck to you,

      Steve

Get an autoresponder and begin collecting emails. Then set up an email sequence that leads to your ebook. Don't forget to give your emails some value.

On the whole, you get what you pay for.

Not heard of e-junkie but the site looks goos and it seems straightforward. Have to give it a go - when I have something to sell

Does anyone know if Kindle prohibits an author from selling somewhere else if they have the book on Kindle? Thanks, Edward Smith

Step 1: Create a small stripped down version of the ebook you're trying to sell. The stripped down version gets the reader excited about your paid book's value proposition.

Step 2: Distribute the stripped down version on all the free document storage sites on the planet.

Step 3: Create social media accounts for your paid book.

Step 4: Engage influence leaders to get them to talk about the topics of your book.

Step 5: Drive the discussions to your email list squeeze page

Step 6: Send an email series building up demand for your ebook

With the right tweaks, this doesn't have to take much of your personal time and effort. If you need help with any of these, just let me know.
