Social Media Search Engine Optimization

INTERNET MARKETING

With Pinterest, Google Plus, Instagram, Tumblr - I am clueless to optimize my posts for search.

Can somebody help me with SEO for these social networks?

And damn, what happened to the price signs on Pinterest - Did Pinterest take them off? People used to be able to put "$" on their pins and no longer the images cannot be assigned a price.

I really look at SEO and SMM (Social Media Marketing) as 2 different things. Both are great ways to get traffic. If my SMM happens to help with my SEO, that's just an added plus.

  Thats a big question, social signals are definitely going to be more a focus of Googles algorithms in the next few years if you read between the lines when listening to matt cutts.
  
  I think with the promotion of any website its important to build up a profile for it on facebook, twitter, google plus, pinterest, linkedin etc. Its just good policy,
