question to people who sell amazon products

I trying to figure out if you send a link to someone with your code in it and they decide to keep shopping or click on another product on the same page, will you still get credit for it? or is it just the product that you referred them too?

  • Yes, if you send someone to Amazon via your affiliate link, you'll get credit for any purchase they make on the site.

    • Thanks, but are you sure about this? Reason I am asking is because when I go to my own link, I see the Ref- with my id in it in the link but when I click on another products the id goes away.

    • Your associate ID is in the links. You get credit. "A Store" is just another widget for displaying your chosen items.

  • You will get credited for whatever they buy as long as you sent them there initially. Im not sure how long the cookie last for though

  • Yes you get credit; though the cookie only lasts for 24 hours on different products to what was in your link.
