Looking for a Starting point :)

I currently sell physical products on Amazon and eBay and I'm having great success at it, I found great products at great prices and I got everything down and its going great. but there is one area that still needs work, and frankly I have never put any effort into it

Internet marketing!!

So I thought of promoting my items but I feel like its not worth it to drive traffic to other sites (ebay and amazon) since I dont have my own site yet, but if I'm getting paid for it as an affiliate, why not?

So I need to know, where is the best place to start? what kind of strategy works best?

Should I create an informative blog and have links to my items? or

should I just create SEO optimized landing pages for each product and sell it outright?

Also, Do you think a war room membership will benefit my situation?

Thank you for reading, SO many questions I KNOW, but it would be great if someone can give me pointers

Cheers!

A blog is great way to promote the products and you can do a lot more with a blog. So, My suggestion is start a blog, write some rich contents about the products and make your blog seo friendly. I believe you can made a lot from it. Good Luck

Sign up for an Amazon affiliate account and start designing micro niche sites to rank on search engines like Google in the hopes to make money without any tangible products. You will learn SEO in the process.

Thank you guys for the suggestions!!

hows the micro niche website different than a blog?

do you think its better to have the website as my company name that I use to sell all my products, or should I make a website for each group of similar products?

Create a blog. Build a list. Now you can market to potential customers, send them specials etc...

Depending on your skills and niche you have chosen I would go down the route of blogging. With a few chosen key words and being consistent then your going to build organic traffic. It will also encourage you buyers to interact with you. This can be very fun. In the past I have made some decent money online by doing this (average $450 a week on a original start up cost of $60)

So let follow these simple steps.

You identified you niche. If your going down the Amazon marketplace route select 100 products with at 4+ stars and a variety of prices. Its key that each product is reviewed 10 + times and with the latest review no older than 6 months old.

research potential material to write in your blogs. These need to be varied from reviews on the future of your niche, Your personal experiences in this niche, giving reviews on products etc... Key to success is consistency and giving as much information possible in a short but to the point blog.

Make sure when your writing your blog you include your keywords in the first sentence and last sentence in your blog. You should look to add your keywords on 6 different occasions, this will increase your chances of rankings on google, hence better exposure, more chance of making money. Dont forget your font should also be a font size of 12 and in a style that everyone can read. Throw in some well placed pictures because sometimes pictures speak louder than words.

Encourage your readers to sign up by offering value. Value can giving them free discount voucher for some product related to your niche or you can give them a free product you created. It can be like a free e book that is related to your niche. Hopefully you get the idea.

As for your affilate links I would limit to around 2 or 3 but certainly no more.

Hope this has helped. Be sure to keep us updated.

You still think that forcing KWs like this will work now ? I heard that big G is very strict on this and they like articles to be natural ....

Yes I do but where you would have had your key word included 8 - 10 times in the past, I would now limit it to 4 times but have maybe two different keywords that are related. Its what I do and to be honest if your content is original and captivating then your going to rank anyway.

if you need anymore help then im here to help

The key to success in my opinion is to always look for ways to self improve and be adaptable. It's the method I lived by in my career and I make a tidy income because of it. I see too many newbies who thinks this industry is easy money but it certainly isn't. Learn the basics, build on the foundations and take small steps towards your goal. Remember it isn't a sprint but a marathon.

I forgot to mention about paid traffic. Would anyone like some advice on it? It can potentially kickstart your income providing it's quality traffic.

I have to agree with Ryan on this one. Having an informative blog is a good choice since you will be providing value and people will appreciate you for that.

And having an informative blog SEO-optimized is just like virtual real estate, you can always switch products and offers when you feel it's needed.

I think you should test the waters with a blog first. Try SEO and everything else yourself first to get a feel and then when you have an understanding of things, outsource the stuff.

You've had some success with eBay and Amazon?

Guess what...other people will want to learn how to do that.

Start blogging. Show people how you're doing it. Become a known authority on that specific topic...then follow the market demand from there.

Yeah I actually thought about that, I looked it up only to find pages and pages with tons of people with blogs, authority website, it seems like everyone and his dog has a blog on the subject on how to sell on Amazon & eBay, given that the competition is massive, does someone starting out stand a chance in a topic like that?
