Your thoughts please?

I'm in the process of trying to decide on a topic for an e-book. Yes, my first, yes I'm an amateur but hey, can't hurt to try right? I can easily write about Psychology or Sociology. I can't decide which or both, I'm wanting to write about how either a) an adult, B) a child, C) both could benefit from certain aspects of psy/soc. I've found a nice crowd to test it on if I could get the basics figured out. So my question to you all is do you think that an ebook on adults, children or both would be more likely toe sell? Obviously, I'm an amateur and could use some pointers as well...

My Opinion? I'd call it "The ABC's of Child Psychology-For adults"

Products having to do with children are hot!

    Or "Child Psychology for Dummies"

Helping young parents understand their children's behavior, what to expect, how to work with it....

Explaining how the child see 's the adult, helping understand interactive dynamics ....

Definately focus on the "child" part.

    Hope this helps.

    BTW: Start with an Outline

I learned this as a published songwriter:

Once you outline the names of the chapters and the sub topics within the chapters...then the rest writes itself.

"Form" the idea first, then fill in the blanks with substance.

Books/products/services geared towards children - especially items that offer a solution to a pressing problem with development - these are very easy to sell and promote. That's been my experience anyway.

Any parent knows where I'm coming from when I say we are more likely to shell out our hard earned cash when our children are in need. If you have a product in mind down the road, you are on the right track and in the right niche with a child psychology ebook.

He's right. Focus on a specific problem a parent could be having with a child that they are desperate to solve.

UGH! Where did the THANKS button go? LOL Did I deplete its allotted usage? Thanks so much! You all are such a great help. You have the most creative ideas! I don't suppose you would have any specific preference to an ebook or groups of threads on ebook creation and all the "How Tos" of it? Thanks!

Head over to this site to get a step by step how to by an excellent blogger. Pot Pie Girl's How To Make A PDF E Book. Otherwise there are literally hundreds of threads here that take you through the how to's.

Alternately I believe there's people in the Warriors For Hire section that will compile it all for you should you be so inclined.
