    Average pages: 2.19
    Average duration: 00:03:16

Bounce rate: 63% (too high for my liking!)

If you want to increase page views then make sure you have more links to other pages on your site throughout your content. I've reduced high bounce rate pages by up to 10% with simply adding more links in.

Also try using a "similar post" plugin at the bottom of the post or custom sidebars where you display related content.

Yes. And... add more shock in your articles. Doom and gloom grabs attention longer... put all your solutions or happy endings at the bottom of the article - irritate the problem at the beginning and middle of the articles... and then on the Similar Post titles add more doom and gloom - wicked hyperlink titles - so each visitor is tempted to click more.

Everyone here could put up their numbers and it wouldn't mean much. There are too many variables, from markets, to the quality of the content. You need to get averages from people with sites and visitors similar to yours. Otherwise it's apples to oranges and will lead you to even more confusion.

Without seeing the site, I'd say you need more interrelated content linked together either embedded within the content itself or at the bottom of the page as suggested above.
