Have a site which gets ~80k visitors daily

Well i have a niche site for cpa (content lock) which gets around 80k visitors per day and i make around $150/day from it. Is there any other way to monetize it? Don't tell me adsense because it sucks.

    I agree with Stuart, build your own list which will allow you you to send them new CPA offer or other affiliate product in future. With 80k visitors/day, with just 1 % opt in will get you 800 subscribers, so you will be able to build a huge list in a very short time which will become your "ATM" in future if you know how to treat your subscribers right

    Maybe try finding better CPA offers if you want to continue going down that route. Otherwise try promoting related products as an affiliate. $150 with that kind of traffic feels wasted to me.

      I think you did a mistake m8. Check your Awstats for traffic and get back to us with the image not Cpanel daily data transfer rate. Hope this helps!

      Where did you get the 80k per day visitors? Because this image says bits per sec. Dont u use google analytics?

      But anyhow, i think your $150 is about right, i have a site that gets 9k daily and i make $20+ per day. Ctr is 0.25%... Lol

    is it a celebrity gossip site? What is the niche because that is serious volume at 2.6 million visitors a month you should be making a boatload more. I can help you but we need more information about where the visitors are coming from, what they are looking for and ways to maximize your $$$ and visitors for upsells, resell,s and remarketing.

    I wouldn't be so quick to take advice from random people on what changes you should make or what you should do, when at this stage we know so little.

      I truly agree with Nicholas. We need to know more about your website
      to give you meaningful advice. However, as many Warriors had recommended
      in earlier post. Building a list is indeed an excellent decision no matter what niche
      your website is. If you have a consistent and targeted traffic, then you will
      most likely be successful. As long as you know what you are doing, you should be
      making simple money; but, I still recommend you to buy several eBooks to fully
      understand what Email Marketing is about before taking any action.

    I can't imagine display ads such adsense wouldn't earn more for now. A 1% CTR is 800 clicks and if you got $.20 per click that's $160. Yeah that would eat a bit into current revenue but combined would surely be better.

    If you display images try gumgum in image ads. You may get a $1 to $3 rpm depending on your niche.

    Also Media.net can do well earning $2 to $6 rpm.

    These are options while you work on something better such as an email sequence that works.

    With some testing and using multiple ad networks you might get to $10 rpm which would be $800 per day.

    Oh yeah, i don't know your niche but Taboola ads may work well for you too.

    Not sure if Adsense sucks, unless you are not hyper targeting visitors. If GA stunk as much as most marketers believe it to, Google would disband the program When they stop getting paid or see little return, they abandon projects.

    distinguish the visitors from page views. then , distinguish bots from real visitors. then, subscribe them and build an email list. choose a good email marketing company -i can suggest one if you'd like- and try to keep them coming back with offers, good attitude and so on

    I just noticed my content locker got 1 million impressions today, and the total amount of money i made from that in 8 months is $52k.

    I'm 100% sure there is a way to get more money off it.

      better copy,
      free report to capture emails,
      more relevant offers to subject matter
      pin interest
      facebook

      You may be doing fantastic with 150 a day consider the source of the traffic and start there.

        Where are the placements of your ads? If the people are clicking on the the third ad in your page that will be the lowest cpc.

        Where is your traffic from?

        If it is all from India then be happy with $150. You will not get a good google adsense CPC and RPM with traffic from there. If it is mostly from the US, then yes something is wrong with your adsense and you need to figure out a fix whether it is reducing your site to one ad. Changing the placement of ads or so forth. Try turning off the ads for a few days and then put them back on your site. Your site might have google adsense smart priced in a negative way. Turning off the ads for a few days should reset it.

    Dude if you're only making $150 per mnth with 80k visitors you need to do something else with that traffic. Definitely capture those visitors by building a list and then you could monetize with CPA offers or your own offers. Also I'm sure with that type of traffic you could sell some ad space on your site either directly or through buysellads or something.

    I have respect for your business model, but frankly 80k visitors can make way more than 150 bucks a day. Don't say adsense sucks because if properly optimized and with correct ad layouts 80k visitors can make way more than $150 even for low CPC Kws.

    You can always do buy sell ads and you can choose to do some in-image advertising, I personally recommend using imonomy because their in-image products are the most successful formats of in-image ads.
