Would you advertise on non English base community?

I have a forum about 300,000 plus members and growing. Would you advertise for that forum?.

For example:

Liking
Sharing
Commenting
WTching YouTube videos
Forum posting
Signing up.

They can understand and write English, but would you advertise for a site like that even though they are non US based forum?.

My own forum is also a non-US based one. I don't understand what that has to do with anything (unless perhaps someone wanted only US-specific traffic because they were marketing something relevant to inhabitants of only one country???).

I'm not sure what you're asking here: what do you mean by "Would you advertise for that forum"? Are you asking whether people would advertise in it, i.e. pay the forum's owners to buy ad space there? (Forgive me if I completely misunderstood ). If so, I'd need to know far more about, to be able to make a decision about that.

I like to do anything in English language, because most of people know how to read & write in English language. English is an international language. As an international place, I need to do in English language only.

@ Alexa Yes, I am also creating a simple task for my community, just like in micro workers.com.

I'm with you ... yes, in principle, I might try to advertise, then. In principle, I certainly don't mind the "audience" being "not first-language English speakers", if they can read and use the web in English.

(In some countries, the proportion of English-speaking population is quite low, and the proportion of population using the internet is also quite low, but the overlap between these two groups is really high, and those demographics are often going to be "real people traffic" with credit-cards, PayPal accounts and so on. )

@ aka even though my forum is not an English forum, I guarantee all of them can write, read and understand English. I also specify a thread for English speaking only.

Everything comes down to the offer. Advertising for or on the forum comes down to what an advertiser has to offer that will be to the benefit of both parties.

In a forum like you are building then it sounds like a great place for bringing value to people looking to complete microjobs and those who are looking to have microjobs completed. I just comes down to making sure that people on boths sides understand why they are there.
