Does this exist? SMTP emailer in wordpress

Hello everyone,

I dont know if im just being stupid, but i cant seem to find a plugin i need from wordpress.

I want to be able to send emails via my wordpress dashboard and ensure its linked to my SMTP account from mandrill (to ensure it goes to their inbox not spam folder).

Sendgrid offer a fantastic inbuild dashboard plugin but want $100 for the SMTP part to be plugged in!

Let me know if there is such a thing

I use Easy WP SMTP which is free and seems to get the job done.

  Ive tried that but it does not give you an interface in the dashboard to compose the email and send it to more than one person.

  GWA autoresponder works with wordpress. There is a free version and a pro version.
  Last time I used them they worked just fine.

  Just tried it and its extremely buggy and has internal errors. Ive now deactivated that and deleted it

Okay I understand better now. No it doesn't do that.

I use it because some reports from some of my plugins were going to spam so I never saw them. Now all emails that go through the system use an external SMTP account but there isn't an interface to send the email.

You need 'WP responder' plugin to send emails through mandrill.
