What should I do?

I would recommend doing what you can to make quick cash. No need to worry about building a business or a list at this point. You need cash, right?

Go to Fiverr and offer something for $5. Make $100 from that.

You could go to iWriter and make a couple hundred in the next few weeks.

This is a tough online world, trust me.

At this point, try to find a way that makes you can income NOW. So IMO, try your best to make cash off of Fiverr or iWriter. It could give you some faster cash to come in. Sent you a pm.

As long as you focus on what you are learning, you will continually be able to improve the amount of money you can make online. What worked for me was learning a skill good enough to get paid for it and then doing the majority of the learning in the process of working for other people. You can choose to learn whatever you want and it sounds like you have already learned skills people would pay for on oDesk or Elance.

Affiliate marketing is very difficult to get right. The problem is that seeing people who are doing it successfully is very easy but actually doing it yourself is very difficult. You usually don't see all of the people doing a terrible job with affiliate marketing.

List building is also difficult to get started with because even if you make a big list, you may not be able to monetize it well. You risk spending a lot of money building something that may not be valuable.

When you focus on learning and connect directly with the people that could use what you have learned, you will have a great chance to make money online.

There are many ways to make money online. But Definitely the money is in the list whether your business is big or not.

I suggest you learn how to start a list building business by having a website set, autoresponder, a free bribe or lead magnet to get the leads emails.

While building your list, keep creating your blog and brand presence everywhere!

From youtube, social media and doing seo optimized blog posts.

Then integrate your blog with your list through relationship and value attraction marketing.

I would suggest to stay focused on just one method, not try a number of different methods without succeeding any of them.

That being said, here's a solid method that works:
- Set up a funnel: squeeze page to capture email address with an offer in the backend.
- Create a follow up sequence providing value to your subscribers and build a relationship.
- Promote offers every now and then to your list.

Important things to take note of:
- Send only targeted traffic to your capture page.
- Promote only high converting offers to your list, in other words, don't promote crap.

If you're trying ppc then always make sure to capture people's email address and building a solid funnel. After that it's just a matter of sending targeted traffic and testing and tweaking your funnel until it's profitable.

Pick a proven online business model that's tried and tested it and run with it till you see success.

I.e. blogging, info product creation, selling services, ecommerce etc.

Don't let your business be reliant on SEO traffic because as you've found out there's no guarantee Google will ever rank your site and even if they do they can take it away at ANY time.

Any business that's one algorithm change away from bankruptcy isn't a real business.

PPC can be hard unless you have money to spare. Seems like you don't so stay clear for now.

If your landing page isn't converting then it probably isn't very good - look at a landing page in your niche that you know works and build something similar.

Sending cold traffic direct to affiliate offers usually results in poor / non existent conversion rates as affiliate marketing requires trust and relationship to be really successful.

AdFly traffic is junk. It's not worth trying to build a list with it. You need quality traffic if you want subscribers who actually open, read, and click emails.

First of all, stop paying money to buy get rich quick schemes.

Focus on what you are doing, setup a content plan, then set up a traffic plan.

Give the most value to your readers. Look at your competitors and see what they are doing but do yours better giving more value.
