Approaching the "Gurus"

One bit of advice that is frequently given is to interview a "guru" (or expert, or whatever you want to title them), put that together as a "Special Report" or whatnot and sell that as a product.

Many moons ago, there was (or at least I thought there was!) a thread that discussed the best ways to approach a "guru" about getting an interview with them to do just that. As I near completion of my eBook, I want to put together a bonus book with some interviews that will give buyers some additional useful information they can put to work. And, thus, I went looking for that thread.

Does anyone remember it? I tried a search but came up empty. I did find one discussing approaching gurus for JVs, but I'm reasonably sure there was one that just talked about interviews and the like. I could be wrong, though.

Anyone remember? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

    Dan,

PM'd you a couple of links. This is a topic I hit on a recurring basis, in one way or another. The most recent was in last week's newsletter. http://talkbiz.com/tbn061709.php

The other link is to something a bit more specific to your question.
