How much do you make per lead every month?

If your reading this and have a list of any size, could you tell me how much you are making every month per subscriber? the reason why I ask is because everyone says they make $1 per lead every month but I just don't see how that is possible unless you would be hammering your list every day.

It depends on the relationship you have with your list. That whole $1 per subscriber thing used to be accurate for people who have information products. If you're just a regular affiliate I'd probably think the number is closer to .50-.75c per subscriber if you have a solid relationship with your list.

To extract the most value from the leads you generate you should offer at least ONE "sale" to your list per month and ONE "high ticket" offer. That will truly maximize the value per lead you have. I'd also periodically delete my non-openers and non-clickers from my list as well so you mail clean data and have a better idea of how many people are tuned into your content and e-mails.

It's not as hard as you think...

If you have 500 people on your list, you would need to make $500 in one month in order to make $1 from each subscriber (for that month)...

If you are promoting a product as an affiliate (or even your own) that NETS you $25 per sale, you would only need 20 sales from that list of 500 subscribers ($25 x 20 sales = $500).

It's just an "average" that is supposed to work itself out "over time" --> It's not as though you make $1 from each subscriber as soon as they sign up and then every subsequent month thereafter like clockwork...

If you were selling a $10 product, you'd need 50 sales to make that same $500...

OR if you were promoting a high-ticket item that earned you $500, you would only need to make ONE sale in order to make your list of 500 people average out to $1/subscriber.

I have made much more than $1 per subscriber in the past, since all of my subscribers were either coaching clients, students or they were repeat customers of some sort.

    Best,
    Shane

Well that is possible, there is a lot of ways to make money with your list. but your earnings will also depend on how you monetize them and handle your list. Results will vary.

For example, if you got 1k list and you are selling $17 product with 100% commission. and only 1% of your list bought on that month. then you will earn $170 dollars. remember we have 30 days in a month so you can promote multiple programs to your list. If you do that 4x per month you make $680.

Just take note that results depends on the offer. It has to be relevant to your list if not you won't make money from it. If you're good in handling your list you can even make 10% conversion
