First WSO questions

Hi, I just submitted my first WSO WP Plugin.

1. How long it takes for mods to approve it?
2. I added a youtube link but i am not sure if it will show up, will i be given a chance to make aminor edit before or after paying?

    Hi Aire,

    All WSOs, Classified Ads and Warrior for Hire threads will usually get approved within 24 hours. You can try posting your WSO on the Test Forum first, so that you can adjust/edit before posting it on the WSO section.

      Since creiben31 totally failed to answer the actual question, the answer is no, you will not be given a chance to make a minor edit (once you submit the thread) before or after paying. You will receive a PM with a link to pay for your post. Once paid, the thread will go live. Only at that point will you be able to edit your thread.

    @Arnold , So i will only be able to edit after its been paid for.

    One more thing.... When i tried posting a youtube video on test forum. It worked fine but when i did the SAME exact thing on WSO posting with preview , it only showed my youtube link.

      If you already submitted it for approval, then yes, only after you pay will you have access to it again.

      One more thing.... When i tried posting a YouTtube video on test forum. It worked fine but when i did the SAME exact thing on WSO posting with preview , it only showed my youtube link.
      Sometimes only a link shows up in the preview, but when it goes live, the actual video shows. Just wait and see what happens, you can always fix it.

    Yes it's correct, you won't be able to make changes until you paid and the thread goes live.

    However, what you can simply do is make the changes while you wait, and after payment quickly edit the thread.

    It's not as if your thread is swarmed with traffic instantly so nothing to worry about.

      Yes you can put your link in your signature.

      It's quite a good way to advertise your product actually. Instead of wasting time on facebook for instance or reading mindless news articles, just add some value to the forum.

      No problem with putting your WSO in your signature. Just don't make the mistake of saying "see my sig" in posts to draw attention to it and you'll be fine.

    Seems like you were able to get everything fixed.
    Your WSO is live, the YouTube vid is showing, and your Sig file is active.

    The only thing I would consider adjusting in your WSO are the two main images which are both 962px wide.
    This is a bit too wide and they stretch and break out of the current forum theme. (although I have seen worse).

    If you size down the images to 750px width, (keeping the new width relative to the height.) it will look better.
