How can I build a website that my competitors like?

I hate competition. I do not have much experience with SEO or internet marketing. But I want to share my passion about sports and at the same time helping others who has the same passion without competition. Can you advice me?

    Totally eliminate the competition by being unique.

    Offer what others don't. Give the quality that others won't. Give customer service that others refuse to spend time on. Go the extra mile in everything you do. Treat each customer as a person, a friend, not as a name on a list.

    Operate in this fashion and you will never be in direct competition with anyone.

    Having said that, you don't necessarily need to worry about competition, if anything, it gives you a reason to be better and explore your passions deeper.

    If you are passionate about something, why would you care about competition?

    I think you could leverage whatever you intent to do best by using social media. That's where other people go who are passionate about something and share with their friends.

    Download FireFox browser. Find a website you like that is HTML driven and not on some platform.

    Go to File -> Save As

    Open the main web file in Dreamweaver or something similar. Edit the website and rebrand it.
