Any Audio Specialists In The House...? Please Help!

Hello,

I've recorded a bunch of Camtasia videos.

Trouble is, there's a lot of hiss & hum.

Not only that, but the recordings seem to be at different volumes.

I've used Camtasia's in-built "Audio Enhancement" tool. It's not too great.

Can you help me? I need a consistantly good audio track...without the hiss and hum, and at a level volume.

I can provide both the original recordings (as .wav), and my 'post production' versions.

The videos are about 32 minutes in total.

Thanks in advance, and please name your price!

Steve

    Hi Steven:

    Hope all is well.

If you would like for me to take a (I won't say look but a hear) listen to the situation I would be glad to do so. If the information is not personal I would try to fix the situation. If I can't fix it there would be no charge. If I can you could send me what you feel it is worth.

Let me tell you a few things please. Certain imperfections can be rectified fairly easily with home-based software such as light hiss, a few pops and clicks from an old album, fading out, etc. Hum is hard even with professional equipment because it gets embedded in the sound.

As a former radio personality and current speaker/podcaster etc. I have worked on a myriad of audio tracks.

hey brother I feel your pain on this. I went through alot of trial and error until I figured out how to record my video and audio without needing any post editing. contact Les Lingle productions and he can do it for cheap and do a very professional job. I hired him from ifreelance site. He did all my audio programs and cds for 75% less than other offered to do it for. Message me and I will give you his email since I have less than 15 posts and cant post it here . or you can just google him and he will probaby come up on ifreelance and elance. He will probaby do it for less than $50. I am also not familiar with camtasia but maybe you need a better mic. not sure what you are using but I use a blue snowflake usb mic ($60 on amazon). This gives me awesome audio on my mac.
