What is going wrong with EZA?

Is anyone else having problems with ezine articles?

I just checked my emails to find my articles weren't accepted.

Spelling and grammar errors.

There is no spelling errors, I cannot see a problem with the grammar..

Is this the end of EZA?

Coming from experience, it really depends on who reviews your article. I have had reviewers from eza tell me I used an affiliate link in the article when I never put links in the article body at all, I have had reviewers tell me the same thing about spelling and grammar when it was their mistake.

I don't get it, it makes me want to move to antoher directory, it's them that will lose in the end if this keeps up because my grammar is fine and so is my spelling.

I've sent them an email complaining.

although I've figured something, that they may run the article through Microsoft Word but that's no way to call an article grammaticaly incorrect.

Well, maybe "there is no spelling errors" but it's a safe bet that there may be some grammar errors. (I'm just bustin' yer balls)

I have not submitted to EZA in almost 2 weeks but I have not any problems getting anything submitted in quite some time.

I don't think EZA is coming to an end any time soon.

Be strong. What you need to do is communicate through their message system when you log in. Tell them the same thing and stick by you guns if you have to, saying over and over that that are no errors you've found and even asking to help.

Their latest automation additions have caused more rejections, and many for absolutely no reason at all. So you simply have to alert them to this and ask for their help. Over time, they will get these bugs ironed out, I believe (and hope), so stick with the process, and you'll eventually get items approved.

Also post to GoArticles and other places, sure, in the meantime. No need to wait around an extra week or so to get articles out here.

PS - Use their spell check tool, and you'll see how some items turn up as misspellings that are not at all. Point this out in your message, too, to help with future related issues for other articles.

Automation can be good, but it needs that human touch here and there

Oh of corse, but sometimes MW has a little bit of a knack for pointing out grammar errors that are very surpassable, therefore it's not a great way to check grammar.

That's true - I'm usually checking for typos. I write one draft only and put it together in my head as I'm typing an article, so typos are a given.

I don't think grammatical perfection is required - if so, EZA needs to eliminate a lot of articles.

for silly reasons. they say it is the same as another out there. but it isn't. unless a clone made one.

Not going to help, not at all. All they do is just repeat what they said earlier.

No, EZA is not going to end, even in the years to come. Perhaps this is why they don't seem to care a damn for quality with so called editors.

I promise I don't mean this rudely, but when your attitude to rejection by EZA is to start a thread asking "What's going wrong with EZA" rather than taking any responsibility yourself, and commenting that your grammar's fine (which, as we can all see and some have even commented on above, is far from true), "What's going wrong with me?" might be a more appropriate question, don't you think? When you're ready to stop complaining and start learning, I think you'll find Steven's kind posts above very helpful.

Meanwhile if you want to post here, in its original form, an article that's been rejected by EZA, I'll happily suggest corrections for you until it's accepted. No charge.
I used their support desk and my articles were swiftly accepted.

So it wasn't my error at all.

Nope, at least not for me.

I'd say you should get the articles proofread by someone competent. I've had it happen to me in the past and just editing a few lines does the job most of the time.

If your articles have no grammatical errors, they should approve it. Sometimes, it just happens because of the system. Email them and let them know 'bout the situation.

    GL!

    Hi Intrepreneur

Yes - EZA CAN be a little bit "picky" sometimes, but, in my experience, they're really good at helping you out if you email them and talk NICELY to them. Lol !!

I use them regularly - get the occasional rejection - but always get it sorted in no time.

There are a multitude of other article directories and article publishers, so do use some of them as well, while you're waiting for EZA to get it sorted for you. One important thing to remember here is that EZA don't like it if the article you send to them is published anywhere else - either by you or by someone else. So, when submitting your article to other publishers, just make sure that you change it a little, so that it's NOT a duplicate article.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers
    Lynda

I recently had an article rejected (very rare for me) because, as they put it,
the article had no value to it.

It was essentially my opinion about something in the IM industry. Okay, fine,
they didn't feel my opinion had any value. That's cool. It's their directory and
they can publish what they want and reject what they don't want.

      I've got two choices.

      Deal with it.

      Don't submit to them.

I took the article and put it on my own blog. It causes quite a stir anyway
and ended up making me a few sales.

Point is, if you're going to submit to EZA, it doesn't matter if you think
your article should be accepted or not. What matters is what they think.

Once people understand this, they will end up with fewer ulcers and
ultimately be more productive in the process.

As others have said, EZA are very approachable if you feel your article has been rejected for the wrong reasons. I have had about 30 or so accepted with them and only one rejected on account of it being duplicate content. This was early in my article writing efforts and I knew I had used a similar introductory paragraph but the rest of the entire article was completely unique and complimented the first one in a huge way. So I thought, whoa, they are really strict. But I firmly believed that despite the simlarities to a previously accepted article this new one was an essential follow on and therefore needed to have similarities in the intro to tie the two together. I decided to email them with this and got a reply almost straight away with an aplolgy for the mistake and all was sorted.
Moral of the story, don't feel intimidated by them, they are more human then they may seem at first.
If after that they still insist there are grammatical errors and you want some more pointers you can PM me part of your article and I could make some changes for you that might help you.
        Good luck.

In general, I do not have big problems with EZA. Really, it depends on who is reviewing your article. But I would not recommend you to remove EZA from your article directory list, as it is worth. This article directory has a great potential to profit from products and services, no matter your own or affiliate, if properly approached.

Hey, nobody's perfect including EZA. I once accidentally resubmitted an article that had already been approved and they rejected it, even though I had made no changes. It took days of writing back and forth to get it resolved. They screw up just like the rest of us.
