Does anybody get Solo Ads Free?

Hey , King of Traffic here.

Hope everyone is having a hot and prosperous summer.

I keep hearing how Solo Ads are earning people huge amounts of
online sales commissions. I know they reach a lot of people but how
many are actual buyers of products and how much are you paying?

What do you think of a Solo Ad List that would have a one time low,
lifetime payment, no monthly fees, and most important, no buying of credits.

Everyone would be a proven buyer on this list and the list would get
larger and larger every day. The catch is if you want to send a Solo Ad
you have to read 5 Solo Ads. This means your Solo Ad will be read by
thousands and you can Blast one Daily....

What do you think? Would it Work?

Cheers

Won't work, members will click solos without even reading them just to get their minimum of 5.

I've personally never had much luck with any of those "Solo Services" that feed you constant traffic. (The "Safe-Lists" or whatever they're called haha)...

Not saying they don't work... Hell I truly wish they DID work... Though I haven't invested more than a few hours just playing around.

The best advice I can give you... Is to sample small... And scale big once you find gold.

Make no mistake; there's a lot of crappy traffic... But man the gold bars are worth hunting for.

    Just my humble Two Cents...

PS: You want free solo ads? The best way IMO is to create an awesome sales funnel with a stellar array of OTO's.

That way you increase your odds of a nice ROI... Right? Voila. Free solo ads. (Or near free).

Again... Just my $.02. Maybe someone has more relevant advice?

Okay...... is what you're describing some kind of co-op?

    Like I get a free solo-ad if I respond to 5 others?

If so, even though it SOUNDS like a good idea, I question it. Here's why.....

The result would be incentivised traffic because a majority of the clicks I'd get would be others clicking to earn THEIR mailing and NOT clicking because of my offer.

I question how this traffic would convert because they were not incentivized by my offer but rather, some external influence.

This is a concern of mine because at the end of the day I don't care about traffic..... I only care about conversions.

Do I get solos for FREE?

    Yes I do.

I do it by making sure my conversions are such that my offer self liquidates

I don't think it's going to work. High traffic won't benefit if the conversion into sales is low.
The mentioned method is like forcing others to take certain actions which doesn't work unfortunately...

That's not a solo ad. That is a safelist. Completely different market and completely different sales tactics are needed.

You'll just get a lot of low quality clicks and once the system has been in place for some time, it will become almost 100% useless clicks where members would just open email and click links autonomously.

Giving people reason to open the email without caring for its contents would never work in the long run, at least for members. As the owner of the system, on the hand, you could make some money out of it. There used to be a number of similar systems going around, even some of the big names were running it, not sure about now though.

Basically, as a user, I would stay away from this. It's pretty much useless and I'm better off paying for an actual solo ad.

One way of not paying for a solo is leveraging your existing list via ad swaps. Sites like safe swap can help but you have to pay a subscription so you'd need to be swapping a lot to make it worthwhile.

You also need to consider the effect on your existing subscribers/list.

The thing about solo ads is this if you join a popular solo ad network most of the people on the email lists are on maybe another 100 or more peoples lists most are in it for the free stuff then will either unsubscribe or never read your email.

Although at times you do get sales here and there its not the solo ad that really makes the money its your squeeze page and your email sequence and the way it's presented to your potential customer.

Why not try a facebook, twitter, or google ad?

Well your conversions will be much lower so i don't see the real benefit from this system.

If you're buying solo ads then it's always just a matter of testing and keeping the data for future reference.

Also check if the solo ad seller is a product creator. It's not a guarantee he will send your solo ad to a list that includes buyers, but chances are higher there are buyers and you'll be able to make sales.

Well, you can get pretty low cost solo ads on Fiverr, but always make sure to check the legitness of the Gig provider before clicking the Order Now button..

the terminology distinction is worth noting. Solo ads are one-time ads sent to a private list owner's list. Safelists are what you are actually describing, not solo ads. This means the private list owner's list usually is much better quality, responsive, and not just a subscriber for the benefit of spamming the list, they actually are interested in the content sent by the list owner.

I build my first list primarily through the use of safelists and list builder type sites you describe. They do have their place, but not the best source of traffic and leads.

However, although some have said that they eventually become autonomous clickers who are just clicking to get enough credits to send their solo, those people can still be marketed to so as long as you put the right offer in front of them.

    Hi,

Once you have an optimized performing funnel and you know you can make
your investment back at least then it won't cost you a single dime to buy traffic
    anyway.

But this takes time, sweat, investment and the will to accept that you'll be at
a loss for the first few weeks at least or how ever long it takes.

You need a super funnel before dealing with solo ads. Remember you are paying anywhere from 0.35-0.60 per click with solo ads. The quality of the traffic is Laser targeted but can be very costly if you don't have a good funnel to break even on investment.

That type of exchange you mentioned doesn't look like it will yield much results. Hard to sell to people looking for freebie traffic. Remember Entrecard? The dynamics are the same.
