Domain - Best way to create subdirectories?

If you have a domain and want to create subdirectories to link to different urls i.e. www.domain.com/offer1, what is the most efficient and easiest way of doing this?

Is installing Wordpress recommended for this or is there a better/quicker way of doing it?

I've searched on Google how to do it, but I can only find things which are about subdomains vs subdirectories, what's best for SEO, etc..

I'm not exactly sure about your question.

In terms of physically creating the subdirectory, you can easily do that in cpanel File Manager or FTP, under the public_html directory.

You can then install software, such as wordpress, in that new subdirectory. This means you can have multiple original wordpress installs, eg. domain.com is one instance, and domain.com/offer1 is another instance, each with its own wp-admin etc.

I'm going to go ahead and make my controversial SEO statement but I *personally* think the subdirectory gives you a little bit of SEO juice if the directory name contains the keyword. However, the benefit is likely not worth using subdirectories for SEO purposes.

My question was based on if you just have a domain and it doesn't have any website on it, and you want to link to different offers using subdirectories.

If you create a subdirectory in cpanel File Manager as you explained, how would you then make it so that subdirectory goes to a specific url?

You can place a redirect script in the subdirectory so when people land on yourdomain.com/subdirectory it goes to a certain page.

If you use wordpress, there are redirecting plugins that allows you to create unlimited sub directories linked to different pages.
