HELP! My website URL on mobile devices is going to adult websites

Hello, I have a brick and mortar business teaching sports to all ages and have gotten notice from my clients that when they put my url link in their phones, iPads, or android phones it redirects them to adult inappropriate graphic websites! It only does it on mobile devices and it doesn't do it all the time. When I try it on my devices sometimes it comes up with my website perfectly and other times it is hacked and redirects me to a bad website that will hurt my business because we are a very clean business and these websites are really bad.

We are using wordpress.org and optimize press and I have researched everything online to see what is going on and how to fix it and am panicking to get this off as people are going to be very upset and not understand it is not us, it is some kind of hackers or virus.

I would greatly appreciate any advice so I can fix this please!

If it's WordPress, install the free WordFence and Sucuri plugins and run scans on your installation. Also, in the settings, specify to scan files outside WP. This should help you get to the root of the problem.

You should back-up your Wordpress and clean everything you have on your host. This
hopefully will resolve your problem. You should read this ARTICLE.

However, if the problem is still occurring, the only solution that I can come up with is to
    hire someone
    to fix the problem.

There are professionals who are willing to clean and fix your wordpress for merely $30. If
you want to save all the data and information that you have on your website, then this would
    be the best solution.

You can simply post a project or a job at Freelancer or Odesk

Looks like your wordpress site has malware and the cause is either old wordpress install or old version of optimizepress.

If you have clean backup of your site then its better to restore to that clean backup, because this kind of malware attack infects several website files.

You should quickly upgrade your optimizepress theme to the latest version. The old versions has vulnerability and thousands of sites was recently hack and injected with malware. If you are using a shared hosting account and you have other sites built with old optimizepress then you should check if they are infected and redirecting too.

You could always hire a professional here in warriorforum and other freelance sites to help you remove the malware from your site.

Your Wordpress site might have got hacked.

    1. Check the admin panel and remove any malicious code you may spot

    2. Ask your hosting provider to do clean up or hire someone to do that. Do that at the earliest!!!

The biggest problem with trying to unhack your website is that the infection or code-injection or whatever it is that is the root of the problem, may well not have come from your website in the first place.

And cheap shared hosting providers now regularly take the least cost route and simply block you from access until you get fed up with their endless and pointless automatic emails, and just drift away.

Then they can wipe their hard disk and start again with a new piece of Internet real estate.

The secret is to get someone who knows how to protect your site for you and avoid the issue in the first place.

Sooner or later you will either learn how or find someone you can trust.
