Get the Email About Big WF Changes?

Everyone get the email about big changes coming to the WF?

"Make sure you put Monday 21st July
EDT in your calendar and lock it in as
you don't want to miss what we have
in store for you and Warrior Forum.
This will blow you out of the water
and will be the biggest thing to ever
happen to the forum. "

Anyone know what changes these could be? Also why send out a teaser email like this? I don't have much of a problem with it, I just don't know what it accomplishes versus just telling us.

    My guess would be some sort of payment/affiliate platform. It would make a lot of sense considering the two most recent changes in WSO policy (no longer have to be a War Room member and being allowed to link to your affiliate sign-up page).

      That would be a great addition i think if that was true.

      I understand the tactics they use by keeping it secret and sending a pointless mail to grow anticipation, but i do'nt think anybody likes to waste their time, so at least they could have given some pointers.

      Still i agree that this will prbably the change that is coming up when you think about it.

    It's so obvious what this is all about... the mergence of WF with Freelancer in which a WSO which now be a FSO and the offer will be posted on Freelancer - further linking the two sites together. Warriors will have more access to sell their services on Freelancer... with the promise of a bigger audience.

    This is about making money for them.... hope this makes money for us too.

    btw..I miss the old emoticons the new ones are strange

    Anyone have any guesses on what it could be? An affiliate program would be fantastic, but not sure if I would qualify that as being "blown out of the water."

      Hardly. I read the email and thought the WF might do well to read Walker's book.

      I seem to have missed the valuable content being provided to rev-up anticipation. Or the mental triggers. All it had was an announcement about something big for the forum. No specific benefit for any user. Does this mean every time Wal-Mart announces ahead of time it will have a holiday special it is using Jeff Walker's launch strategy? Or Apple announces it will be releasing a new iphone version?

    Here's the problem...

    If what they come through with doesn't meet the anticipation they've generated, it's gonna backfire on them.

    My thinking is...

    If they REALLY are giving us what we've been asking for, drop a bigger hint.

    The email was too abstract... mysterious. Not in a good way.

    Reminds me of when I was an advertiser in one of Martha Stewart's magazines over a decade ago and she sends out this announcement proclaiming great news... and the great news was that the publication was going from 2x a year to 4x a year.

    Couldn't wrap my brain as to the audacity of that statement in that there's no increase in circulation but now advertisers had a smaller shelf life per edition at twice the annual expenditure to stay out there. Hey but she threw us a party at the Four Seasons.

    This is before her prison sentence.
