Hands down I would say "http://www.myecovermaker.com". This is if you want to do the cover yourself. Of course you can usually get much better and more professional results by having them done by someone experienced.

Easy Ecovers - MyEcoverMaker.com but you will be limited by your creativity though. I personally outsource 'ecovers' because they can make/break a launch (But have you seens Frank Kern's new Book it's a couple of texts on a yellow background but that's Frank Kern )

Cover Action Pro is the best. It's not the cheapest or easiest to learn . . . but you asked for the best and it produces covers, boxes, magazines, DVDs, reports, pamphlets, and all the rest that are top of the line.

There are plenty! Just Google it. The software suits Mr. X, doesn't mean it will suit you as well. You have to discover which one suits you best!

  • If you are just launching one product for now, and since you say that you are a non techy guy (assuming that you don't want to mess with software too much) I would in that case also just recommend finding someone to simply create an eCover for you.

Depending on your budget and your needs, you could either look on fiverr for someone to create a basic eCover for a few bucks, or look on the warrior forum where you may be able to find someone to do a whole minisite/banner/eCover package. Personally I can only recommend Buddy @ www.coverscorp.com since I have really never found the need to hire anyone else, and he's always delivered.

As far as recommending a "Best Ecover Creator Software for infoproducts",
I personally would only ever suggest using Photoshop with a professional set of ecover action scripts such as 3D Photoshop Actions - ebook Cover Software.
However this would require Photoshop and graphic design skills to make it all work.

You could simply pay $5 to hire someone professional and really good on Fiverr... may take about 2 days to get it done.

Or you could pay $30 and above for some of the products listed in this thread. Your decision.

This looks pretty good. I think it requires the latest versions of Photoshop.

I have tried a lot of different e-covers creation software, but I found the best one for me it is PixelStudioFX (www.pixelstudiofx.com) - Fast and simple and houndred of themes.

Your best bet would be to do a survey of the best sellers on Kindle in your niche and try to correlate the designs to Fiverr designers.

Many fiverr designers have distinctive styles that set their covers apart. One of my most successful clients stands out in his niches due partly to the distinctive cover art style he uses. He gets his designs from a Fiverr gig seller. My client is hardly alone.

    Reverse engineer your competition.

Most of the time I use the graphics design software. Such as Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator. By this two software, I can do what exactly I want. I am sure it is the best way to do anything, than any other ways. If you do not know how to use these apps, you can hire a freelancer from any freelancing market place. Today it is no longer an issue to find a good graphics designer in the online place.Best of luck.
