Do you check your email with your smartphone?

Im sure a majority of the members here check their email with a smart phone. The question really is do you click on links from your phone also? If so do you really click on as many as you normally would from a computer?

Check mail 99% of the time from phone. This being a marketing forum, I'm not sure many here click links either way.

Yeah, I would click and if its content on the landing page I will read through. For video I would wait until I have computer access.

I only check email on smart phone as it's quicker for me as above I only do video on computer so it uses less of my mobile data

I personally do check email on my iphone. But I try not to click on links. I hate reading small type on my phone. I never watch videos on my phone, either. I'd rather check them later from my laptop or PC. Anything more than checking email and reading text - I do on bigger machines.

Exactly. I get a hundred emails a day so I use my smartphone as a screening tool to delete the ones I don't want to spend any further time on when I get home. Anything with a link that looks promising is saved for the laptop when I get home.

All the time and habitually actually. I'm constantly looking at my email from my iphone when I'm out and about or need to kill some time. I'll checkout interesting looking product offers and I've also bought WSOs that way if it's something I wanted to pickup cheaply or before I forgot all about it. So anyways yes .

My phone alerts me with each new e-mail and I try to check them immediately. If the link is, first of all, legitimate, and of high importance or time-sensitive, I will click it on my phone. If it can wait, I generally click it on my laptop as mobile websites can be difficult to navigate.

For me personally, I do check email on my phone. But if I want to click on the link, I will leave the email in my inbox and check the link through my computer.

Of course I check my emails on smartphone. When it comes to links, I usually click on them, but only if it's something urgent.

      All. The. Time.

I'm on my iPhone more than my laptop, so yes, I'm constantly checking e-mail from my phone throughout the day. (I used Google Apps for business and the e-mail is nicely formatted for my phone.) And yes, I click through the links if I want to look at whatever it is.

Sometimes the pages are mobile-optimized, sometimes they're not. Whether I continue with the content depends on 1) how difficult it is to access/read on my phone and 2) how badly I want that content at that time. I find all videos will play on my phone, so that's not an issue.

I definitely prefer mobile-optimized sites though. If I see something on my phone that I want to check out later on my laptop, I'll e-mail myself the link to look at later.

I even do purchases on my phone. I've attended entire webinars, clicked through to the purchase link and purchased on a non-mobile-optimized shopping cart (Nancast). I've done it via 1 Shopping Cart too, but that was mobile-optimized. But to do that, I MUST be able to purchase with PayPal as I'm not in a place where I can pull out my credit card and input the info.

In fact, I often decide on whether or not to purchase based on whether I can purchase with PayPal. Either I'm not in a place where I can get my CC info and put it in, or I'm too lazy. For example, I spend a lot of time on my laptop in bed with my feet up. Many, many times, I'm either not feeling well or am just too lazy to get up and go get my purse, which is by the front door. (I have physical issues which greatly inhibit my mobility, so this is a bigger deal for me than for most people.)

It's 2 AM and I'm in bed with my laptop. I am NOT running across the house to grab my purse, dig through my wallet and pull out the CC. If you're not offering PayPal where I can just put in my e-mail address, forget it. You've lost the sale. (And I buy A LOT of stuff.)

I've attended entire webinars and purchased things on my phone when I was taking a bath. Seriously. And I'm NOT jumping out of the tub to rummage through my purse for my wallet (dripping wet) to purchase your new, super duper whizbang new e-book!

Love my iPhone and all I can do with it!

I don't do that frequently. If it looks interesting, maybe yes, but most of the times I go back and open it from my PC.

I check email on my phone all the time. I also click on links to see if there is anything interesting. If I like it then I view it on my computer as well. I also watch videos on my phone.

I'm a big email phone guy, always checking my emails.

As to clicking on links, if something really interested me then I would open it up, but most likely at less busy times.

Yes to both questions. I check my mail on my phone and I click links that interest me. Sometimes I even click links that don't interest me to see what other marketers are doing.

I check my email all the time with my celly. Partially to see sales, respond to emails/customers, talk to a few chicks i meet on facebook, and for google searches. I almost never click on the ads that i see though.
