Screenflow resolution for apple cinema 27

You guys with a 27 inch display ( 2560 x 1440 ) that record with screenflow ( or whatever else) , what resolution do you record in for a good youtube viewing experience? Tks

    I do a lot of software tutorials and 1920x1080 is a good resolution as it matches the resolution of HD screens, and the interface isn't so small that it's impossible to see on a smaller screen. My iMac doesn't support that resolution on its own, but I use an app called SwitchResX and it lets you switch your screen to any resolution you want. Super useful.

    1280x720 is another good choice if you need the interface stuff to be bigger on the video.

    I'd record in 720p for Youtube purposes. That seems to be working fine.

    But no matter how pristine is the file you upload to Youtube, they still do a ton of compression on it.
