Best Free/Low Cost Ways To Find Job Seekers Who Need Resume Services?

Hello to all my fellow Warriors,

I'm wondering if anyone has insight into the best, most targeted ways of doing outreach to job seekers looking for professional resumes and cover letters?

Preferable free or low cost.

The ideal prospect would of course be someone that has purchased this kind of service in the past, was not satisfied, but is willing to give it another shot.

Extremely hard to find these people though unless my competitors divulge their lists to me (not very likely )

The second best would be people that have expressed interest, in one way or another, in professional resume and cover letter writing services.

This group should be much easier to locate but for some reason I'm still having trouble.

Should I try finding related blogs, forums, and discussion groups online then get involved and engage them?

So far I've tried Yellow Pages, Craigslist, Ebay Classifieds, and Backpages.

Also listing my company in other local directories.

My business so far has some from YP and CL, but not at a sufficient level.

Currently working on improving my paid listing on YP online and mobile as well as my landing page with YP connect.

As for CL, I've gotten a few clients there but I always see people posting numerous times in the same category (writing/editing/translation), in the same geographical area (in this case LA which is where I live), and within the same 48 hour period.

So they must either have a team of people doing this with many different email addresses and/or they are utilizing some kind of VPN client such as HMA to do this.

Personally, I've tried Creative Post but I can't get it to work for some reason.

Anyways, any insight into the fastest, most effective, and cheapest ways to generate resume clients both online and offline would be greatly appreciated.

Much thanks,

Marko

P.S. I'm starting to investigate offline networking through BNI, Toastmasters, Meetup groups, etc. and it's starting to help but will need to get more involved.

If you've had success with Craigslist then maybe just scale that up. Massive amounts of potential on CL

Hi Jonny2spoons, thx for the feedback. I've been trying to use a VPN client together with auto posting software but can't seem to get it to work.

      Will look further into this.

      Thanks,

      Marko

Marco you can hire freelancers to post a huge number of ads for pennies. Try odesk and maybe even fiverr
