Google doesn't hate Amazon Affiliate Sites. These are some silly rumors started by people who were penalized by Google. Previously, it was easy to get an affiliate site ranked with Exact Match Domains, Little back linking and low Quality and minimal content.

When that changed, lots of people dropped in ranking and thus this stupid rumor was born.

Affiliate sites are still strong. Although, there are a few rules you need to follow.. Quality Content is the key here among various things.

Since you're a newbie, you might not be able to get into AA since they require you to own a website with content and quality before approving you.

You should try out Clickbank, RapBank and specially Market Health! These are really easy to get into and you can start promoting anything right off the bat.

What Google doesn't like is sites that are thinly veiled affiliate doorway sites to Amazon.

If you provide quality content with a lot of niche relevant information to your visitors you won't get penalized. You need to engage and inform your informers not just try to sell them stuff.

If you have quality blog posts for your niche, google will not penalise you.

Create some articles about a topic and suggest a product at the end too your visitors covering the topic you are writing about.

Yes! You can target your audience based on what you're selling and send them to your own E-Store or Amazon via affiliate link.

You can also send them to landing pages.

Although the cost would be high since people are always bidding high on 'Buyers' keywords so you'll be paying alot for a single click.

It's really not as simple as that suggests.

If you have a quality site with quality content, and it isn't just something cobbled together as a way of leading your traffic to Amazon affiliate-links as quickly as possible, Google will be perfectly happy with it.

This entire business about "Google hating affiliates" is fairly distorted and overblown. If you have a good site that educated, informs (and entertains?), you'll be fine. If you have a thin, poor quality site, that can be a different story.

Whether you can make all that many sales to search-engine traffic anyway is, of course, another matter altogether!

I'm new to this whole thing. Please be patient and indulge me.

I've been approved by a handfull of CJ advertisers who permit direct linking.

I've done my math and think there may be a modest margin to capture.

I've gone to Google Adwords and started a campaign with my add directly linking to my approved advertiser, but my campaign has been discontinued and the feedback I've gotten from Google has been vague. I'm a novice, or a notch below, but not an idiot.

Can anyone offer advice so I don't spoil my relationship with Adwords before it's started? Any advice peripheral to this question would also be appreci
